NEET Application Form 2020 will be available issued by the National Testing Agency. From 1 November, the NTA NEET 2020 application form will be available. NEET Application Form 2020 - Who is eligible to apply?

It is really important for aspirants to check whether they are eligible for NEET or not. Last year, the Medical Council of India (MCI) made some changes for NEET UG; however, not all candidates received the changes. Thus, the revised NEET eligibility criteria 2020 are mentioned below:

  1. Nationality: Indian citizens, Non-Resident Indians (NRI), Overseas Citizens of India (OCI), Person with Indian Origin (PIO) and Foreign Nationals are eligible to apply for NEET 2020
  2. Age: Aspirants must have completed the age of 17 years at the time of admission or will be completing the same as on 31 December 2018. Upper age limit for the candidates will be 25 years with relaxation of 5 years for reserved and PwD category
  3. Qualification: Aspirants should have passed class 12 or equivalent examination from a recognized board with an aggregate of 50% taken together in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English
  4. NIOS: Applicants who have completed their 10+2 from Open School as a private student are also eligible to apply
  5. Candidates who are appearing for their class 12 can also apply for NEET 2020

Step 1: NEET online registration 2020

The first step in how to fill NEET application form 2020 is online registration. First of all, aspirants need to register themselves to fill the NTA NEET 2020 application form.

  • Click on the link which will be provided on this page
  • In the redirected page, enter the following details: name, date of birth, mobile number, email ID
  • Aspirants also need to create a password as per the specifications and then confirm it
  • Once all these details are entered, an email containing NEET application number will be sent
  • After registration for NEET 2020 is over, applicants have to log in using the application number and create a password

Step 2: Filling up NEET application form 2020

In this step, candidates have to fill NEET application form 2020 by entering the details asked. Aspirants must note that the information filled should be correct and shall be as same as mentioned in the certificates. The details which must be filled in NEET UG application form 2020 are:

Basic Details for Registration: Enter the following details:

NEET 2020 question papers will be available in 10 languages including English, Hindi, Gujarati, Marathi, Oriya, Bengali, Assamese, Telugu, Tamil, Kannada and Urdu

Choice of NEET Exam Centre: Candidates must select at least 3 preferences of NEET exam centres 2020 as per their convenience.

Education Details: Here, the following academic details must be filled:

  • Class 10 details - Name of the school, Board name, percentage secured, total and subject-wise obtained etc.
  • Class 12 details - Details of marks secured in Physics, Chemistry, Biology/Biotechnology and English, school name, board name etc.

Step 4: Payment of NEET Application Fee 2020

The NEET UG application fee must be paid by candidates for successful submission. NEET application form 2020 will not be accepted by NTA without fee payment. The mode of payment and amount to be paid as NTA NEET 2020 application fee has not been made available yet.

If the payment will be done in online mode, then candidates can pay through Credit/Debit cards or net banking. In case the NEET 2020 application fee will be the same as last year, it will be:

Step 5: Printout of NEET 2020 Confirmation Page

After the successful payment of NEET application fee 2020, a confirmation page will be generated on the screen. The same will also be sent to the registered email ID and mobile number of the candidate.

Aspirants are advised to take a printout of NEET application form 2020 confirmation page for future references. The confirmation page of NEET MBBS application form 2020 will be an indicator that candidate has filled successfully filled and submitted it.

Along with the NEET application form 2020 confirmation page, students must retain the following documents:

  • Proof of payment of application fee (bank transaction details supported by confirmation page)
  • At least 5 similar passport size photograph which was scanned and uploaded in NEET application form 2020

  3. Forget mobile number and email ID: In this method, aspirants need to enter the registration number, DOB and their name. Along with that, they also need to provide their father’s and mother’s name

Q. Is the NEET application fee refundable?

Ans. No, the fee for NEET application 2020 is non-refundable.

Q. I've made some errors while filling the NEET application form. How can I make the correction in NEET 2020 application?

Ans. After the submission of the NEET application form, NTA will provide a NEET application window. However, the changes are limited and the window will remain active only for some time.

National Eligibility cum Entrance Test - NEET 2020 will be conducted by NTA. As per the press conference by MHRD minister, Prakash Javdekar, Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) is not the conducting authority of NEET 2020.
