Uttar Pradesh MBBS / BDS admission 2018 based on NEET

Uttar Pradesh MBBS/BDS Admission 2018 is done on the basis of NEET Scores. UP MBBS application form has been started from 20 June 2018 for the candidates who have qualified in the NEET 2018 exam. The Directorate of Medical Education and Training (DMET), UP qualifies only such candidates who have satisfied the prescribed eligibility criteria for UP MBBS Admission 2018. Candidates will be able to apply online till 24 June 2018. Only those candidates will be included in the UP NEET merit list 2018 (which will be released on 25 June) who will duly fill and submit the UP MBBS application form. The candidates will have to report at the Document Verification Centres with the required certificates. The first round of UP NEET Counselling 2018 will commence from 2 to 4 of July 2018. • Reservation of seats for scheduled castes/tribes and Other Backwards Classes are made according to state government guidelines.

Uttar Pradesh Colleges accepting NEET Score

Domicile: Candidate must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh.

• The candidates who have cleared Class 10 & 12 from Uttar Pradesh are not required to submit the domicile certificate.
• The students who have passed either Class 10 or 12 from Uttar Pradesh have to present the Samanya Nivas Praman Patra issued from the competent authority at the time of counselling.
• The students who are domicile of Uttar Pradesh but have not cleared Class 10 or Class 12 from a school located in Uttar Pradesh have to present Mool Nivas Praman Patra from a competent authority at the time of counselling.

Age: Candidates should have born on or before December 31, 2000.

Academic Qualification

• Candidates appearing in the qualifying examination in 2018 can also apply.
• Candidates must have passed Class 12 examination or its equivalent examination from a recognised Indian university/board with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English.
• MBBS / BDS: For admission, the candidate should have passed any of the qualifying exams and should have obtained a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology. (40% for SC/ST/OBC)
• NEET Percentile: The candidates must have scored an aggregate percentile of 50% in NEET in Physics, Chemistry, Biology. In a case of PWD, the Aggregate Percentile in all the above three subjects is 45%. It is 40% percentile in case of SC/ST/OBC
  
• BAMS: Candidates applying for BAMS must have passed in science stream examination.
• BUMS: Candidates applying for BUMS must have passed in the intermediate exam with Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany/Zoology) and should have passed Urdu in Class 10.

 The candidates from Sampurnanand Sanskrit University, Varanasi who have passed Class 12 in Science Stream are eligible only for BAMS course.
