Ishan Uday Scholarship Result 2018-19: Check Status

Ishan Uday Scholarship Result 2019 has been declared and the students have to log in to check their scholarship status. This year there is a slight variation in the process of Ishan Uday result. UGC has not declared the Ishan Uday Merit list 2018-19 but the students can check the Ishan Uday Scholarship Application Status. The sample screenshot of the Ishan Uday result status is given here. 

In February 2019 UGC released the Ishan Uday Final Merit List and students can check whether they have qualified for the scholarship.

After the declaration of result of Ishan Uday Scholarship, candidates would be required to submit a set of documents to the designated Canara Bank Branch authorised by UGC. The scholarship is awarded 10,000 candidates every year. Ishan Uday Scholarship scheme was launched to promote higher education in the North Eastern Region. Ishan Uday Scholarship Scheme is for general degree courses, technical and professional courses, including medical and para-medical courses. If in case the number of the applicants exceeds more than the number of scholarships available, then the selection will be done on the basis of Class 12 marks. Ishan Uday Scholarship Result 2019 will be considered for the students who are in the first year of academic session 2018-19. Ishan Uday Award Letters is expected to be available from the month of October 2019. The students will get an email when their award letter is ready.

What after Ishan Uday Scholarship Result 2018-19?

If the candidate gets shortlisted then the awardee is required to approach the designated branch of Canara Bank along with a Copy of the Award Letter and Joining Report with a photograph, address and contact no. in the prescribed proforma. Ishan Uday Scholarship Result 2018-19: Non selected candidates

In case you do not find your name in the list given below then it means that you are not selected for Ishan Uday Scholarship. There are many criteria to get selected for the scholarship and getting a good percentage of marks is not a sufficient criterion for selection in the scholarship programme. Ishan Uday Award Letter 2016-17

Ishan Uday Scholarship result is announced on 9 June 2017, and the award letter for all the selected candidates is available from the third week of June 2017. The student can download their Ishan Uday Award Letter by entering the registration number and the date of birth when available. The award letter will contain all the details and will list down the documents to be submitted for availing the scholarship.
