NHPC Fellowship for Assam Students 2016

NHPC Fellowship for Assam Students 2016 is now available for students of Assam domicile only. Students will be awarded this scholarship on merit cum income basis. Applicant must submit the filled Application Form along with relevant supporting documents. The last date of NHPC Fellowship for Assam Students 2016 application form submission is January 15, 2017.

About NHPC: NHPC Limited is a Government organisation working in the field of electricity generation through a hydroelectric power plant. The organisation is focused on the development of Power in all its aspects through conventional and non- conventional sources in India and abroad.

• NHPC is committed to the socio-economic development of the society through education. Hence, it has introduced ‘NHPC Fellowship scheme for Assam’. The primary motive of this project is to provide support to the needy, meritorious & talented students of Assam domicile.
• Total NHPC Scholarships: 214 Scholarships.

Renewal of NHPC Fellowship for Assam Students

The candidate has to apply for NHPC renewal through a separate application form for the continuation of scholarship. In this form, the candidate has to fill his/her Percentage of Marks/CGPA/OGPA in the previous year/ semester and Bank details. Also required Self certified copies of the mark sheets attested by the authorised signatory of College/ Institute/ University to be enclosed.

Candidates can download the application form from the official website of NHPC. The candidates have to certify and verify the Filled Application Form and supporting documents by their Head / Principal / Head of the Institute / Dean of the Institute / College / University should reach the designated office of NHPC as per the details in the application format.

Steps to fill the Application Form

STEP 1: Fill the Application form: The application form has to be filled in the CAPITAL LETTERS.

• The candidate has to fill the application form giving the required details such as his/her personal details such as Name, DOB, Gender, Family Income, Address, Family Income etc.
• The candidate has to fill his/her Academic Details. 

STEP 2: Affix a passport size photograph: Candidate must paste the passport size recent photograph attested by the Head /Principal of the College/Institute / University.

STEP 3: Get the application form Verified by the Principal/ Head of the Institute.  

Documents to be enclosed with the Application Form

• Date of Birth Certificate / DOB proof of Applicant
• Photo identity proof of candidate (Voter I-card, driving license etc.)
• Domicile certificate of candidate (issued by competent authority as per latest notification of Govt. of India/ Govt. of Assam)
• Residential proof of applicant’s father / local guardian
• Proof of Category for SC/ST/OBC Candidate (issued by competent authority as per latest notification of Govt. of India/ Govt. of Assam)
• Mark sheets of candidate
• Proof of admission in the Institute
• Mark -sheet of the candidate if any semester is completed
• Proof of Annual financial Income of the candidate’s family
• Forwarding letter by the Head of Institute in the prescribed format
  
  

NHPC Fellowship Application Form Submission

Students will get this scholarship on the basis of merit cum overall family income. This scheme is available only for Assam region candidates. The main objective of this scheme is to provide support to the needy, meritorious & talented students of Assam domicile.
