IPU CET 2018 (IP University Entrance Exam) is for admission into programmes of studies offered by IP University which is also known as Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. IPU CET 2018 is an all India Entrance Exam conducted by Indraprastha University for admission to its various courses/institutes/universities for the academic session 2018-19. IPU Application process has been ended, and Only Indian citizens are eligible for admission.

IPU CET 2018 Exam Date/ Schedule Announced!

IPU CET 2018 is going to be conducted in various cities during weekends over a period of one month or so at the designated Test Centres throughout India. IPU CET 2018 will be held in 9 cities across India in pen and paper based mode. The university conducts the IPU CET to provide admissions to undergraduate aspirants in various courses at IP and its affiliated colleges and universities.

IPU CET is a Pen and Paper based exam for admission to all the Under Graduate programs except Architecture under IP University. It is for both UG & PG Courses. The exam is commonly known as IPU CET but different exams are conducted for each course of study.

IPU CET Admit Card 2018

IPU CET Admit Card 2018 is available for download on the official website 7 days before the date of the CET. Admit Card is issued only to those eligible candidates who have submitted their duly filled application forms before the due date.

Candidates are required to carry two printouts of the admit card at the time of CET. One copy of the admit card should be retained by the candidate after getting it signed by the Invigilator. The second copy should be handed over to the Invigilator for University records.

The candidate has to paste a passport size photograph on both copies of the admit card. Candidates are advised to keep two copies of the photograph uploaded at the time form filling handy for this purpose for each CET applied for.

IPU CET Exam Pattern

(Except for MBBS, PGMC and SSMC)

Total Questions: 150 objective-type questions
Marking scheme: Each question shall carry four marks
Negative Marking: There will be negative marking for incorrect answer. One mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer
Duration: Two and a half hour duration
Total Marks: 600 marks.
Medium: English only
Candidates should bring a black ballpoint to the Examination hall for writing/marking responses (darkening the ovals) on OMR answer sheets.
Use of pencil is not allowed.
For those who are unable to appear in the test on the scheduled date for any reason, a retest will not be held by the University under any circumstances. No refund of fee is permissible.
