IPU MBBS and BDS Merit List have been released on 27 June 2018 by GGSIPU, Delhi. However, the final merit list of IPU NEET 2018 will be displayed on 30 June after the corrections of discrepancies. IPU MBBS and BDS merit list is the basis for admission to 400 MBBS seats offered by medical colleges of the university. Only candidate swho have qualified NEET 2018 as per the qualifying cittieria are eligible for IPU MBBS admission 2018. As per the qualifying criteria, general category candidates must secure 50 percentile, while that for SC/ST/OBC aspirants, it is 40.

IPU MBBS/BDS Counselling 2018

The candidates will be called in the order of merit and shall be offered the seat available at that point of time. All the candidates those who are allotted seats at the time of 1st counselling must report at the respective colleges within the time specified in the counselling notifications. The classes will commence from 1 August 2018. The admission of the candidate, who fails to report as per duly notified dates (in the counselling schedule) of the admission year, shall be cancelled.

Medical Examination for IPU MBBS/BDS Admission

Finally, the candidates will be admitted and have to undergo the Medical Examination. Only those, who are certified to be medically fit by the Board will be admitted. If in the assessment of the Medical Board, a candidate is found medically unfit for admission to the course, his/her candidature will be rejected and rejection on the medical ground may be communicated by the respective Colleges to the University latest by 25 August 2018.

IPU MBBS / BDS Admission Discrepancy

In case of the discrepancy in the details submitted by the candidates in their IPU MBBS / BDS registrations, the candidates will have to submit a physical form along with the fee of Rs 500 in the admission branch of the IPU University i.e. GGSIPU from 10 AM on 28 to 29 June 2018, No further queries after these dates will be entertained.

Documents Required at the time of IPU MBBS/BDS Counselling

Candidates selected for admission to the MBBS programme after verification of their eligibility and offered admission should bring the following original certificates/ testimonials /documents at the time of reporting to the College:

• Certificate of having passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination, showing the subjects offered by him/her in the examination.
• Certificate from the Board from which he/she passed the High School/Higher Secondary Examination, showing his/her date of birth.
• Certificate/ Mark sheet from the Board from which he/she passed the 10+2 or equivalent examination showing that he/she has secured 50% or more marks (40 % in case of SC/ST candidates) in aggregate in Physics, Chemistry and Biology/Biotechnology and pass in the subject of English (Core or Elective or Functional).
• At the time of counselling/ admission in the University, candidates have to bring a Demand Draft of Rs. 30,000 and a separate Demand Draft of Rs. 1000 in Favour of Registrar, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University payable at Delhi.
• NEET UG 2017 Score Card.
• NEET UG 2017 Admit Card.
• The copy of GGSIPU Registration Form.
• Four passport size photograph.

• Copy of Admission verification form (duly filled by candidate)
• Migration/Transfer Certificate from the University/Board last attended by him/her.
• Character certificate from the head of the Institution from where the qualifying examination was passed or from Gazetted Officer.
• Certificate from the prescribed authority showing that he/she belongs to a Schedules Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/OBC category. (Applicable only to candidates belonging to Scheduled Caste/ Scheduled Tribe/OBC category).
• Any other document as may be asked for by the University/College.
