With professional education taking the forefront for CBSE, the board is putting in all of its efforts to pursue the same end. CBSE’s new initiative of launching Centre of Continuous Professional Development and Centre of Excellence at Kakinada in East Godavari district is to instil excellence in teachers and empower them. It is to provide the right tools to teacher and heads of institutions to impart quality education to all of their students.
The board has also established the centre in Gurgaon and seven other locations under the belief that a teacher’s education is continuous and unending. Mr. Pallam Raju said that teachers have the commitment to enhance their skills and education. Through teacher training, this initiative plans to bring in quality education.
CBSE, which has been engaged in teachers’ training for the past decade, feels that their initial aim of quality education can only be bought about by training the teachers to realize their potential and can bring about change in the education sector.
It will offer quality programme to teachers collaborating with educationists, teachers and other eminent personalities in order to train the teachers to the maximum level.
