CAT 2017 Exam dates are released now and the CAT exam dates clash with IBPS PO and The Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) Entrance Exam. IIM Lucknow, the conducting body of CAT 2017, released an official notification for CAT 2017. According to the notification, this year CAT exam will be conducted on 26 November 2017.
The CAT aspirants were waiting for the notification impatiently, the formal announcement has left the aspirant perplexed as Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) would also be conducting its entrance test the same day as CAT 2017 on 26 November. The aspirants who were planning to appear in both of the exams will now have to now either pick only one exam or they can apply for both exam and hope to be allotted the second session of Common Admission Test (CAT). The announcement of CAT 2017 dates is also dreaded by the aspirants who were planning to appear for banking recruitment exam this year. However, the registration for IBPS PO exam is yet to start but according to the released tentative schedule, the main IBPS PO exam will be conducted on 26 November 2017. The candidates who qualify the preliminary exam for IBPS PO would definitely not want to miss the main exam.
It would be really very difficult for MBA aspirant to pick exam as Indian Institute of Foreign Trade (IIFT) is one of the few management institutes which offer MBA program in International Business and CAT score is accepted not only at IIMS but also at many non-IIM in India. Non-IIM accepts CAT score for shortlisting of the candidates for admission in their various management programs. The students should consider that CAT has more advantage in terms of the number of institutes who take admission on the basis of CAT score. The candidates are advised to fill the application form for all the 3 examinations because they may have off chance for appearing in 2 exams.
