Punjab Agriculture University Admissions is offered on the basis of Common Entrance Test (CET) and Agriculture Aptitude Test (AAT). The entrance exam was conducted in pen and paper-based. The PAU result for the CET has been released on 13 June and can be downloaded below. PAU AAT exam which was conducted 13 June 2018 will be available soon. PAU Counselling 2018 - Important Information

• PAU Counselling for the eligible candidates will be done in two rounds. The two of the rounds are mentioned below. The candidates appearing in the counselling should go through the process given below.
• The candidates/ applicants have to fill in the white application form which will be uploaded by the University for facilitating the counselling. The candidates have to fill this form in their own handwriting and bring that on the day of counselling.
• For all the undergraduate programs, the number of applicants called for counselling would be 4 times the number of seats available.
• PAU Counselling Round -1 2018 will be conducted in July 2018. The details are mentioned below.
• The candidates seeking admission under Sports Quota have to report at 9.00 a.m. in the office of Director Student’s Welfare one day before the date of counselling for sports trial.

PAU Counselling Schedule for CET (Round 1)

The PAU Counselling will be held on 11, 12 and 13 July 2018 for which the time is given in the table below. The candidates should know that the reserved category students who do not want to get admission under their category can also opt for admission under General Category.

PAU Counselling 2018 for AAT (Round 1)

The PAU Counselling for AAT Round 1 will be held 10 July 2018 and the candidates have to reach the venue on time. The counselling process for all category will start from 9:00 AM. Although, the counselling for the 2nd round will be held on 2 August 2018 only for the vacant seats. 

PAU Counselling for Round 2 - CET and AAT

Second round of PAU Counselling for CET and AAT will be conducted 1 & 2  August 2018 respectively. The second round of PAU Counselling will be based on the Merit list of the selected candidates.If a candidate has missed the 1st counselling, he/she can attend the 2nd counselling. However, allotment of seats in Second counselling round will be subject to the availability of seats.

• The candidates selected for counselling would be required to submit the complete admission fee, if the candidate fails to comply with this requirement, in that case, the seat will be offered to the waitlisted candidate on merit basis.
• Candidates must note that the university will not give any travelling allowance for appearing in the counselling.
• Candidates must reach on time for the counselling; there will be no separate intimation given by the university regarding the same.

Documents to be brought at the time of PAU Counselling

The candidates must also bring their original documents along with two sets of photocopies for counselling verification.

• White colour application form duly filled in (available on PAU website for online applicants and available in PAU Prospectus for offline applicants).
• Must bring Residence certificate belong to Punjab/UT, Chandigarh.
• Reserve category certificate, if any.
• Annexure C for sports person.
• Date of Birth certificate
• Detail marks certificate of 10th standard.
• Character certificate.
• Full fees as prescribed in the PAU Prospectus 2018-19.
