Uttar Pradesh MBBS Admission in Pvt Colleges 2016 will be done on the basis of NEET UG score through counselling conducted by U.P. Unaided Medical Colleges Welfare Association (UPUMCWA). The counselling will be the basis for Admission in MBBS First Year for the academic year 2016-17 in Unaided Minority as well as Non-Minority Member Colleges of Uttar Pradesh. Till last year U.P. Combined Medical Entrance Test (UPCMET) was conducted for admission in UPCMET Participating Colleges 2016. But from this academic year 2016-17 as per the guidelines of Hon’ble Supreme Court & Hon’ble Apex Court, MBBS Admissions will be done on the basis of NEET conducted by CBSE.

• It gives admission to eligible candidates who have passed 10+2 level examination or at present studying in 10+2 (student appearing in 10+2 examination of 2016).

• Academic Qualifications: Candidate must have passed Class 12 examination or appearing for Class 12 examination in 2016 of UP Board / ISC / CBSE or its equivalent from any recognized Board / University with English as a subject.
• Minimum Percentage of Marks: Candidate must have secured minimum 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/OBC) average marks in Physics, Chemistry & Biology (including practical examination) combined together
• Age: To appear in the Entrance Examination candidate should have completed 17 years as on December 31, 2016
• Nationality: Admission is open to all citizen of India.

As per the notification of UGC, the NEET scores is mandatory for admission to MBBS/BDS course in any government and private medical colleges in India. Therefore, to apply for the admission into MBBS/BDS course, the candidates need to submit their NEET score. To appear in the NEET exam, the candidates have to fill the NEET application form.

Candidates who have earlier applied for UPCMET by any of the mode given below and has paid the exam fees need not apply again for the counselling.

• Mode 1- Buy the Application Form from the Cash Counters of the Member Colleges

• Mode 4: Buy Application Form from Authorised Vendors

Submit NEET Score: These candidates have to submit their NEET Score to the coordinator at info@upumwca.org latest by August 25, 2016.

For Candidates who had not applied earlier and want to make fresh application

These candidates can apply for the counselling by registering online and paying the counselling fee of Rs, 1000 latest by August 25, 2016

UPCMET 2016 Application Fees

• Qualifying Exam: On the basis of NEET Score candidates will be shortlisted for counselling 
• UPUMCWA Counselling 2016: Shortlisted candidates will be called for counselling, round 1 of counselling will begin on September 3.

UPCMET 2016 Exam Pattern

• Exam is divided into two Sections
• Negative marking of ¼ would apply for every wrong answer.

PAPER 1: Physical & Biological Sciences: It will consist of Two Sections

PAPER 2: General English (Qualifying Paper)

• Timings:  11:45 AM to 12:15 PM
• Total General English Questions: 50 Questions

• Candidates will have to be biometrically verified at the entrance of examination premises. Therefore, all  the candidates must report to the allotted examination centre at 8:00 am sharp.
