JEE Main B.Arch Colleges provides the list of colleges and the total number of seats offered by Architecture colleges for admission to B.Arch and B.Plan colleges across the country. JEE Main paper 2 results have been announced for the January exam. There are around 350 JEE Main B.Arch colleges across India. Thus it is a tough competition to secure a seat in any one of these. There is a total of 9 NITs, 6 CFTIs and other institutes accepting JEE Main paper 2 scores for admission to 946 total number of seats. JEE main paper 2 was conducted on 6 January in 2 shifts in Computer-based made. This year, around 1.97 lakh candidates registered for the exam and 1.57 lakh appeared for the entrance test for admission to JEE Main 2020 B.Arch colleges and other universities. JEE Main Paper 2 was conducted in January across many centres throughout India. Candidates who have secured 50% aggregate marks in Class 12 in five subjects as well as passed individually in Mathematics were eligible to appear in the exam.

Out of the total 31 National Institutes of Technology (NITs) in the country, only 9 offer admission in B.Arch course and there are 559 B.Arch Seats in these NITs. There are 5 CFTIs/ STFIs which also offer B. Arch/ B.Planning course and there are 331 seats. These institutes offer admission based on Central Seat Allocation Board (CSAB). CSAB conducts a common counselling process for engineering/architecture admission.

JEE Main B.Arch Paper 2 Colleges - Important Information
- JEE Main B.Arch Exam will offer admission through JoSAA based on JEE Main Paper 2 All India Rank.
- There are very few colleges that offer admission into B.Arch Course based on the JEE Main Paper 2 and the for majority of the Architecture colleges the admission is based on the score obtained in NATA which is a compulsory exam to seek admission to the B.Arch/ B.Planning Course.
- National Institute of Technology (NITs) offers admission to the B.Arch/ B.Planning courses based on JEE Main Paper 2 followed by CSAB Counselling.
- The below mentioned 9 NIT’s, 5 Other Central Government/State Government Funded Technical Institutes and 1 other institute offer admission based on JEE Main paper 2.
- The calculations of the percentile of qualifying examination marks for paper 2 of JEE Main will be calculated based on Mathematics and Other four subjects.
Admission in other Architecture Colleges Across the Country
- B. Arch at IITs- Indian Institute of Technology offers admission based on Architecture Aptitude Test
- B.Arch at Pearl Academy- Pearl Academy also conducts its Entrance Exam for admission to B.Architecture /B. Planning Course. But it also takes admission based on NATA.
- B. Arch Through NATA- NATA is conducted by the Council of Architecture and most of the institutes /colleges accept only NATA scores. There are around 350 Institutions in India that offers admission in the five-year B. Arch degree course based on National AptitudeTest for Architecture (NATA) >>Details about NATA.
