Gujarat MBBS Merit List 2018 Released - Download Gujarat Mock Result

Gujarat MBBS Merit List 2018 has been published on 27 June. A link to check the rank list is provided on this page. The conducting authority, Admission Committee for Professional Medical Education Courses (ACPUGMEC) has released Gujarat MBBS state rank list for general, SEBC, ST, SC, PH and NRI candidates. Gujarat MBBS 2018 merit list displays the merit rank, NEET rank, name and category. The state merit rank in Gujarat MBBS rank list is listed as per the marks obtained in NEET. Gujarat NEET mock allotment result has also been released on 1 July and is available below. The list displays the names of candidate admitted in MBBS and BDS courses. Candidates whose name will be listed in the merit list will be called for the counselling process. On 14 June, the conducting authority Admission Committee for Professional Medical Education Courses (ACPUGMEC) has released the list of candidates as per NEET scores, who are eligible for Gujarat MBBS admission 2018. Based on the Gujarat MBBS merit list 2018, candidates will be eligible for admission to around 4150 MBBS and 1000 BDS seats offered at medical and dental colleges of the state.

Only aspirants who have appeared and qualified in NEET are eligible to be included in the Gujarat MBBS merit list. As per the qualifying criteria, candidates must secure the minimum of 50 percentile in NEET, while that for SC/ST/OBC, it is 40 percentile.

Types of Gujarat MBBS 2018 Merit List

The state authority will release different types of Gujarat MBBS merit list, namely:

• First Merit List – This list includes the name of students who have passed their qualifying examination from the Gujarat Board
• Second Merit List – The list shall provide the state rank of aspirants who have passed class 12 from Central Board
• Third Merit List – This merit list provided the name of candidates who have qualified HSC from Indian School Certificate Examination (ISCE)

Note: In all these lists, the merit list for reserved category aspirants will be published separately.

Gujarat MBBS Merit List 2018 – Tie braking Procedure

In case the rank of two or aspirants will be equal, the authority will follow the tie-breaking procedure as mentioned below:

• Higher grand total – Candidates who got higher grand total in the mark sheet
• Higher marks in Biology – Aspirants with higher marks in Biology will be awarded better rank
• Higher marks in Chemistry – Candidate who obtained higher marks in theory of Chemistry will be given a better rank
• Higher marks in Physics – Aspirants who secure higher marks in theory of Physics will be allotted higher rank
• Higher marks in English – The candidate who obtained higher marks in theory of English will be allotted better rank
• Higher grand total in class 12 – Students who secured higher grand total in secondary school certificate examination (class 10) will be given the better rank
• Date of birth – Candidates elder in age will be given better preference. The elder candidate will be given higher rank

Gujarat MBBS Merit List 2018 – List of Rejected Candidates

The authority, ACPUGMEC, released the list of candidates who will not be allowed to appear for Gujarat MBBS admission. Candidates may get rejected if they have completed their class 10 and 12 (or both) schooling outside Gujarat.

Aspirants included in the merit list of Gujarat MBBS 2018 will be called for the counselling process. Based on the state merit rank in the rank list, aspirants can participate for Gujarat MBBS admission 2018. The process of counselling will begin in the fourth week of June 2018, tentatively.
