ICAR conducts entrance test for BSc Agriculture admissions for the 15 percent seats in Government Universities across the country. ICAR Entrance Exam

ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agriculture Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Government of India which conducts All India Entrance Examination for Admission for admission to 15% seats in Government Agriculture Universities in India to the B.Sc. Agriculture programmes and 100% seats in RLB, CAU Jhansi. The candidates are recommended for admission in the subject/degree programme of choice in the Agricultural Universities on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination and availability of seats at his/her merit-rank during counselling.

The DAVUET exam conducted by DAV Jalandhar University and the candidates can apply for DAVUET through online mode. G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology

G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) is a first agriculture university of India. GBPUAT offers the following bachelor’s programs:

  • BSc Agriculture
  • B.Sc. Home Science        
  • B. V. Sc. & A.H. (Veterinary)
  • B.F. Sc.
  • B.Sc. (Food Technology)

Admission is done to the programs mentioned above on the basis of JEE (main) score. The candidates seek admission in GBPUAT will have to apply online. Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences

SHIATS (Sam Higginbottom Institute of Agriculture, Technology & Sciences) is one of the premiers Agricultural Institute in India and established in the year 1910. SHIATS offers various bachelor’s degree programs including B.Sc. (Hons) in Agriculture and the candidates can get admission in those programs on the basis of an entrance test which is conducted by SHIATS every year. Banaras Hindu University

BHU (Banaras Hindu University) is one of the top 5 central universities in the country, which was established in 1916. BHU offers various courses including B.Sc. in Agriculture and the candidates can get admission in B.Sc. Agriculture program on the basis of BHU UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) which is conducted by BHU every year. Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, Mirzapur (RGSC) also offers the B.Sc. Agriculture program and the candidates can qualify for admission here on the basis of same entrance test BHU EUT. The total number of seats in B.Sc.
