ISC Results 2017 is now declared on 29 May 2017 at 3:00 PM for the exam which was conducted from 6 February 2017 to 5 April 2017. Students can check their ISC Results 2017 by visiting the official website of the Council for the India School Certificate Examinations (CISCE) or through SMS. Last Year Total Number of Participating Schools in ISC 2016 exam were 909 Schools. This year 74,544 candidates participated in the ISC Class 12 Exams. ISC Results for Class 12 students who appeared in the board exam is now declared on 29 May 2017. The result was earlier scheduled to be released on 29 May 2017. The result is  available online, and the students can check the result by entering the relevant details. The final marksheet of the students will be available in their respective schools.

How to Check the ISC Result?

  • Step 1: After logging in Click on “Result 2017” link.
  • Step 2: Click on “ISC” Link
  • Step 3: Enter seven digit Unique Identification Number/Roll Number.
  • Step 4: Enter the captcha
  • Step 5: Download the result.

How to Check the ISC Results 2017 through SMS

The candidates can check the result through SMS. To get result through SMS, the candidates have to type 'ISC' leave a space and the type Seven Digit UID and send the message to 09248082883

  • The number of schools that presented candidates in India & Abroad for the ISC Examination is 909
  • Number of Boys who appeared for the ISC Examination is 38,659
  • Number of Boys passed in ISC is 36,830
  • Number of Girls who appeared for the ISC Examination is 32,482
  • Number of Girls passed in ISC is 31,666
  • The pass percentage for ISC is 96.38%.
  • The pass percentage obtained in the major subjects in the ISC Examination

  • English 99.68%; Bengali 99.76%; Hindi 99.78%; Economics 85.70%; Commerce 94.26%; Accounts 92.85%; Mathematics 93.12%; Physics 97.39%; Chemistry 98.84%; Biology 98.39%; Computer Science 99.64%;

  • The ISC Examination has been conducted in 52 written subjects of which 15 are Indian languages, 8 are foreign languages, and 3 are classical languages.

  • For ISC in India, the Region has the best pass percentage i.e. %, followed by Southern Region (99.08%), Western Region (97.47%) and Northern Region (96.04%). Eastern, ISC has achieved pass percentage of 95.86%


  • 2248 Scheduled Caste candidates took the examination, making a pass rate of 95.02%

  • 2478 Scheduled Tribe candidates took the test, achieving a pass percentage of 93.22%

  • 7013 Other Backwards Classes (OBC) candidates took the examination, making a pass rate of 95.71%

  • Special Difficulty cases for ISC such as Dyslexia cases were 116 (6 candidates obtained above 90%); Visually Challenged cases were 18 (4 candidates obtained above 90%), and four candidates took their examinations in the Hospitals.
