ICSE and ISC rechecking has started from 14 May 2018. ICSE Result (Class 10) and ISC Result (Class 12) was declared on the same day. The board has given a facility to apply for rechecking of the board exam result. Any candidate who is not satisfied with their marks in ICSE and ISC can apply for rechecking. Furthermore, the candidates can even reappear for the ICSE and ISC year 2018 exam, the dates for which will be announced by the Council for Indian School Certificate Examination, soon after the declaration of the results. The candidates have to pay the amount of Rs. 1000 per subject for rechecking. More information regarding ICSE and ISC rechecking is given on this page.

Rechecking of ICSE and ISC Result 2018

ICSE and ISC Rechecking 2018 has started from 14 May 2018. The candidates who appeared in the exam and are not satisfied with the marks can apply for rechecking request. The rechecking of the results will remain open only for seven days. Hence, the candidates can apply for rechecking from 14 to 20 May 2018. The link to apply for the ICSE and ISC rechecking is given below. ICSE and ISC Rechecking - Revaluation Procedure

  • The candidates have to follow the link given above on this page. There they have to provide the captcha to register.
  • Now the candidates need to create a user account.
  • Activate email id by following the link sent to the registered id while creating the account
  • Log in using email id and password
  • Fill the form - Select Individual if you are applying for recheck request

Reappearing for ICSE and ISC 2018 examination

ISC and ICSE result is announced, the candidates who are not satisfied with the marks scored by them and would want to reappear for the ICSE and ISC year 2019 exam must seek admission in affiliated school. This information is for: 

  • Candidates who would not be awarded Pass certificate and wish to reappear in ICSE and ISC 2019 examination with or without regular attendance at an affiliated school. 
  • Candidates who have been awarded pass certificate in 2018 or earlier and wish to reappear in ICSE and ISC 2018 examination with or without regular attendance at an affiliated school. 

If a candidate plans to reappear in ICSE or ISC 2019 exam then he/she must make sure that he/she takes admission in affiliated school before the following tentative due dates.

ICSE and ISC Reappear - Candidates who are awarded pass certificate

  • Candidates who would be awarded pass certificates at the ICSE and ISC Year 2018 Examination or earlier and now wish to appear for the ICSE and ISC Year 2018 Examination with regular attendance at an affiliated school.
  • Candidates who have been awarded pass certificates at the ICSE and ISC Year 2018 Examination or earlier and now wish to appear for the ICSE and ISC Year 2018 re-examination without attendance at an affiliated school. 

It is to be noted that candidates who have been awarded Pass certificate can offer any/all of the subjects offered by them in the last ICSE and ISC examination taken by them as candidates in regular attendance at an affiliated school (provided that the subjects under consideration are still being offered by the Council). 

ICSE and ISC Reappear - Candidates who are not awarded pass certificate

  • Candidates who would not have been awarded pass certificates at the ICSE and ISC Year 2018 Examination or earlier and now wish to appear for the ICSE and ISC Year 2018 Examination with regular attendance at an affiliated school.
  • Candidates who would not have been awarded pass certificates at the ICSE and ISC Year 2018 Examination and now wish to appear for the ICSE and ISC Year 2018 Examination without attendance at an affiliated school.

It is to be noted that Candidates who have not been awarded pass certificates will have to compulsorily offer the subject English and three, four or five subjects from the subjects offered by them in the last ICSE and ISC Examination taken by them as candidates in regular attendance at an affiliated school.

  • It is to be noted that candidates who have entered as school candidates, and were not awarded pass certificates, are permitted to re-appear for the examination without further attendance at a Council affiliated school, only once in the immediate year following their failure, but not thereafter.

ICSE and ISC Rechecking and Reappearing 2018- Points to Ponder

  • The candidates who would be reappearing for ISC 2018 must carefully follow the syllabus of the regulations and syllabus. 
  • The candidates have to appear for both the Theory and practical component of a subject.
  • Admit Card: The admit card will be sent tentatively by last week of January 2019, with all its details and information regarding the examination to the Principal of the School where the candidate's centre for the examination is located.
