ICAR

ICAR (Indian Council of Agricultural Research) is an autonomous organisation under the Department of Agriculture Research and Education, Ministry of Agriculture and Farmer Welfare, Government of India which conducts All India Entrance Examination for Admission for admission to 15% seats in Government Agriculture Universities in India to the B.Sc. Agriculture programmes and 100% seats in RLB, CAU Jhansi. The candidates are recommended for admission in the subject/degree programme of choice in the Agricultural Universities on the basis of merit in the Entrance Examination and availability of seats at his/her merit-rank during counselling.

DAVUET is an Entrance test for admission to vacant seats in B. Tech & B.Sc. Agriculture programs which were left after counselling based on JEE main. The candidates appearing in their qualifying examination are eligible to apply for DAVUET test. The DAVUET exam conducted by DAV Jalandhar University and the candidates can apply for DAVUET through online mode. The candidates will be selected for admission through counselling process and the counselling will be done on the basis of score secured by the candidates in DAVUET test.

G.B. Pant University of Agriculture and Technology (GBPUAT) is a first agriculture university of India. GBPUAT offers the following bachelor’s programs:

BHU (Banaras Hindu University) is one of the top 5 central universities in the country, which was established in 1916. BHU offers various courses including B.Sc. in Agriculture and the candidates can get admission in B.Sc. Agriculture program on the basis of BHU UET (Undergraduate Entrance Test) which is conducted by BHU every year. Rajiv Gandhi South Campus, Barkachha, Mirzapur (RGSC) also offers the B.Sc. Agriculture program and the candidates can qualify for admission here on the basis of same entrance test BHU EUT. The total number of seats in B.Sc. Agriculture program at BHU is 123 and 40 at RHSC. 15% of the seats in B.Sc. Agriculture at BHU & RGSC filled through ICAR Entrance Exam.
