West Bengal Talent Support Stipend  (TSP) 2019 - Application

West Bengal Talent Support Stipend is the latest initiative of the Government of West Bengal named as TSP (Talent Support Stipend Scholarship Portal). This scheme is designed and offered by “The West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC)" for encouraging and providing financial support to Minority Students of West Bengal. This stipend will be provided to those students who are the resident of West Bengal and have passed their last final examination and having less than 50% marks. Only two students can apply for West Bengal Talent Support Stipend from the same family.

In this scheme, 30% quota of scholarship has been earmarked for girl students. Only students who belong to minority communities such as Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, Sikh, Parsee, and Jain can apply for this scholarship. The students are informed that this stipend is awarded one time in a year and has to be renewed every year.

West Bengal Talent Support Stipend (TSP) Dates

The rewards for the scholarship will be as per the standards of the West Bengal Minorities Development and Finance Corporation (WBMDFC), The students will be entitled to the scholarship for the duration of 1 year only. Since the scholarship rewards will be disbursed directly to the account of the candidates It is mandatory to have their personalised Bank Account in the nationalised banks with IFSC codes.

West Bengal TSP Scholarship  Renewal

The scholarship is given to minority students to enable them to study from class 11 upto PhD. The stipend is awarded one time in a year. The student has to apply for renewal while filling the application form, if the student files an application under fresh then that will be rejected.

Steps to fill the West Bengal TSP Scholarship Application Form

STEP 1: Registration: Before starting the application process, students have to complete the registration process by filling the student details like their name, religion, mother, father's name and bank account details. In the very first step, the students have to fill their Bank Account Details for transferring the amount of scholarship direct in Bank Account so keep the saving bank account number and IFSC code ready while registering for the scholarship

STEP 2: Academic Details for the scheme eligibility: In this step, the student has to add their current class, previous class, Last Final Examination Details, Present Institution Details, and Family Income and based on this the system will automatically apply the student for the scholarship for which they are eligible.

STEP 3: Generation of Application Number: The system will generate their application number and students can save that for future use and with this, the TSP application is successfully submitted. Once registration is completed on click of submit button, a Permanent Registration ID is generated which can be used for Renewal and tracking the status of the application .

Guidelines for filling the West Bengal TSP Application Form

• Students can fill up the online application in as many sittings as they wish until they are satisfied that you have entered all desirable fields correctly.
• All the information can be edited until the final submission of the application form. After final submission, the student’s application will be forwarded to the next level and application after that cannot be edited.
• Applicants must have a valid working bank account in nationalised Bank with IFSC code, as the scholarship amount will be disbursed directly into their bank accounts.

• In case an institution is not listed in the online list of the institutions, then there is an option for online institute registration. The institution is required to maintain the following syntax/path :- (www.tsp.wbmdfc.co.in----->INSTITUTION REGISTRATION-----INSTITUTION LOGIN)

West Bengal TSP Scholarship Application Form Submission

The printout of downloaded after the completion of the West Bengal Talent Support Stipend Scholarship Application Form, the filled application form has to be submitted to student’s Institution along with the copies of the listed below documents

• Annual Income Certificate
• Page of passbook indicating Name
• Account Number IFSC Code
• Income Certificate may be issued by Pradhan/ Ward councillor/ Gazette Officer/ MLA/ MP.

West Bengal TSP Scholarship Application Status

Applicants can check the status of their filled-in submitted application forms, whether they are selected or rejected. To check the status of their filled in the application, the applicants will have to log in to their scholarship portal using their login ID and Password. Along with these applicants can also check whether they are selected for the scholarship scheme or not.
