UP Scholarship Application is available now. Students can apply Online only for UP Scholarship by 31 August 2018. The candidates can apply for UP Scholarship 2018 under three categories, which are Pre Matric, Post Matric and Post Matric other than Intermediate. Students of class 9 and 10 can apply under UP Scholarship Pre Matric, whereas, students from class 11, 12 can apply under UP Scholarship Post Matric. The students pursuing higher education can apply under Post Matric other than Intermediate. The application form can be filled by 31 August 2018. UP Scholarship will be disbursed directly in the account of the candidates between 15 and 30 December 2018 for Pre Matric and Post Matric respectively. Last year, around 1.3 crore candidates registered for UP Scholarship under Pre Matric and Post Matric section. However, around 55 lakhs scholarships were sanctioned as per the official website of UP Scholarship.
Who will get UP Scholarship 2018?
UP scholarships are distributed to the economically weaker students to continue their studies. The candidates must be a domicile of Uttar Pradesh in order to apply for the scholarship. There are renewal policies under which the candidates can renew their scholarship every year.
Earlier, UP Government released the dates of Pre Matric and Post Matric Scholarship on their official website. UP Scholarship Pre Matric is given to the students studying in class 9 and 10, whereas UP Scholarship Post Matric Scholarship is given to higher level education including class 11 and 12.
