BCECE Counselling 2018 - Online Registration Started

BCECE counselling 2018 online registration has been started for engineering courses. Candidates can apply for BCECE counselling 2018 by clicking on the link provided below. The counselling of BCECE will be held by the conducting body Bihar Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board (BCECEB). The online counselling has been started for the candidates who have qualified in the entrance exam. Candidates must note that they will be called for the BCECE 2018 counselling on the basis of their merit rank obtained in BCECE exam. The BCECE counselling will include registration, choice filling, seat allotment, documents verification and final seat allotment. BCECE seat allotment 2018 will be done on the basis of state merit rank, preferences of colleges as well as courses and seats available.

After completion of BCECE 2018 counselling, candidate will be eligible to take admission in various engineering, pharmacy and agriculture courses. Qualified candidates must note that the counselling of BCECE 2018 will be held in two rounds with the mop-up round. 50% of agriculture seats will be filled through the merit list of PCM and PCB, while the remaining 50% seats will be filled through CBA, PCA, MBA and MCA streams. Candidates are required to go through some important dates related to the counselling process of BCECE 2018. The counselling will be conducted for various streams on various date and time. BCECE Counselling Details

BCECE counselling 2018 online registration has been started from 19 July 2018. Candidates can click on the below link and register themselves for the counselling round. The BCECE counselling 2018 will be held in three rounds i.e. Round 1, Round 2 and Round 3 (if required). The counselling process will be held in various colleges/institutes that come under Bihar state. Every candidate must note that they will be called on the basis of vacant seats in various colleges and their desired course. Applicants will be allotted colleges or institutes, dates and time on the basis of their BCECE result 2018. Candidates have to reach their allotted institutes or colleges for BCECE counselling on the scheduled time and at the below provided an address.

Candidates who are going to appear in BCECE counselling are required to carry their required documents along with them. Every applicant has to carry his/her counselling fee along with them for their final admission in their desired course and college.

Documents Required for BCECE Counselling

Candidates are required to carry some important documents along with them. The list of Documents required at the time of BCECE counselling 2018 is mentioned below.

  • Printed Copy of BCECE admit card 2018
  • BCECE application form 2018
  • Option form/Choice filling form
  • Mark sheet, admit card and provisional certificate of 10th class or any other equivalent examination
  • Result, hall ticket and a passing certificate of I.Sc  or any other equivalent certificate
  • Income certificate of their parents
  • Character certificate, recent photograph, Character certificate, Caste certificate, Nativity certificate, Medical certificate etc

BCECE Counselling Process

BCECE counselling process includes the seat allocation and interview process. Candidates who have filled the choice filling form are required to visit the above-provided address to select their desired course and college. The required documents will be verified by the officials. After verification of documents, the applicants will go through the seat allocation and interview process. When the candidate will be allotted seats then they can visit the allotted college and confirm their admission before the due date.

Step 1 – Online Registration - Every qualified candidate is required to register themselves for BCECE counselling. To register, applicants need to enter the following details:

  • Roll number
  • Name
  • Father's name
  • DOB (Date of Birth)

After the BCECE counselling registration procedure aspirants need to enter the following details:

  • Contact address
  • Mobile number
  • Security question

Step 2 – Online Option Entry/Choice Filling - To fill their option entry the candidates have to LOGIN by entering their BCECE registration number and password. After logging in, candidates will be able to check the details such as registration details, choices available, preferences filled by the aspirant, change in password facility. Candidates can also download the provisional allotment letter here as well.

Candidates are advised to select the option carefully as the admission will be granted on the basis of these preferences filled.

Step 3 – Provisional Seat Allotment - Candidates can check their provisional seat allotment through online mode. The seat will be allotted on the basis of BCECE merit list and availability of seats in their desired course and college.

Step 4 – Verification of Handwriting - The verification of handwriting will be done for the authentication of the candidates. Applicants have to write a sample of their handwriting which will be compared with the Handwriting on the OMR sheet.

Step 5 – Final Seat allocation and Interview Process - Applicants who will successfully qualify in the handwriting verification round will be able to check their seat allocation status. 

Step 6 – Verification of Document and payment of the fee - At last, the selected candidates have to report to the allotted college or institute to get their documents verified and make their payment successful. Candidates are required to visit the allotted colleges for verification before the due date.
