Steps to Fill the IIST Application Form 2018
Candidates need to follow the given steps to fill the online IIST Application Form:
STEP 1: Registration
- First of all, candidates need to apply online by clicking on the direct link given above.
- Here candidates need to enter their JEE Advanced Roll Number, Date of Birth and security code to get themselves registered.
STEP 2: Filling the Application Form
- After registering themselves, candidates will get a registration number and password.
- By using their registration number and password now candidates need to log in and fill their online application form.
- After filling the application form, candidates have to submit it and take a receipt of the same.
STEP 3: Application Fee Payment
- After filling and submitting the IIST application form online, now the candidates are required to pay the application fee.
- For paying the application fee, candidates need to click on the pay registration fee option.
- Here they need to pay the application fee through SBI Collect. Candidates need to select the ‘State of Corporate/Institution’ as Kerala and ‘Type of Corporate/ Institution’ as Educational Institutions.
- Now a further window will open where candidates have to select IIST as the Educational Institutions name.
- Now candidates will select their payment category as ‘UG Registration Fee 2018’ and enter their JEE Advanced Roll Number and IIST Registration Number and click on submit button and then pay the application fee.
STEP 4: Checking the Application Form Status
- After filling the application form and submitting the application fee, candidates will have to check the status of their application form.
- Candidates can check their status of IIST Application form by providing their IIST Registration Number and password.
- If the status is negative, then they can contact the authorities about their form status.

IIST Application Form Submission
Candidates are suggested to check the details of the application form before the final submission. As the application process gets over then the candidates will not be able to do any changes. The candidates need not send any hard copy of the duly filled in IIST Application Form to the authority. Candidates have to submit their Application Form through Online mode only. However, candidates are requested to take a print out of the duly filled in Application Form for future use.
Who is eligible for IIST Admission in B.Tech?
The candidates who have qualified for JEE Advanced are eligible for IIST admission in B.Tech course. The applicants can also see last years statistics for admission in IIST. The candidates have to score the below-given percentage of marks in JEE Advanced for admission in IIST. The table has the opening and closing percentage of marks in JEE Advanced for 2017 academic year. This year JEE Advanced was of 360 marks. JEE Advanced Result 2018 is expected to be released on 10 June 2018.
