UGC NET Syllabus 2018

UGC NET Syllabus is given below on this page, however, lots of changes were made in National Eligibility Test which every candidate must know who aspire to be Assistant Professor and Junior Research Fellowship (JRF). National Eligibility Test (NET) holds twice in a year, once in June-July and others in December-January. Scroll down to get details on UGC NET Syllabus.

  • NET is conducted by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). Earlier University Grant Commission (UGC) was the conducting body for the same.
  • The age limit is extended from 28 years to 30 years.
  • Exam Pattern has changed as of now, instead of three only two questions paper will be held in two sessions.
  • Candidates have passed their Master's Degree OR the equivalent examination with at least 55% marks (50% marks in case of OBC falling in Non-Creamy layer/SC/ST/) category candidates.
