Final merit list will be prepared for E group on the basis of marks obtained by the applicant in the Common Entrance Test. A statewide merit list for both groups will be published on the official website of WBSCVT. WBSCVT is Common Entrance Test score will be accepted for admission in ITI different trade courses affiliated to the NCVT. The candidates holding required CET score can apply for admission into any of the following:
- Government ITIs / Government ITIs under PPP
- Government ITIs under PPP
- Government Sponsored ITIs and ITCs
- Government Junior Polytechnics (JP) of West Bengal

Step involved to Download WBSCVT Result 2018
- STEP 1: First, the candidates have to visit the official website of West Bengal State Council for Vocational Training (WBSCVT) directly or by clicking the link given here.
- STEP 2: Thereafter, the candidates have to enter Application number for their respective group.
- STEP 3: The candidates have to download and take a printout of the merit list for the future references.
- STEP 4: The candidates qualified in the CET will have to produce merit rank during the time of admission.
The candidates qualified in the WBSCVT Common Entrance Test 2018 will have to proceed with the counselling process. The candidates will be given choice filling for counselling process which will be held on an online basis.
WBSCVT Counselling 2018 after Result Declaration
- The shortlisted candidates will be given choice filling for WBSCVT counselling process which will be held on an online basis. The dates for the same will be notified on the website soon.
- An SMS will be sent to the candidate's mobile number and email id after the preparation of the statewide merit list provided in the application form containing user ID and password for login to the counselling portal to participate in the choice filling for online counselling.
- One Applicant can provide his/ her choice of trades and Institutes based on the availability of seats in that particular institute.
- Auto up gradation of seat allocation will be available and the process of the same will be available on the website of WBSCVT.

- Self-attested photocopy of final mark sheet of Class 8
- Self-attested photocopy of Admit Card of Madhyamik or equivalent examination as proof of age
- Self-attested photocopy of mark sheet of Madhyamik or equivalent examination
- Self-attested photocopy of Certificate of Madhyamik or equivalent examination.
- Self-attested copy of certificates for SC/ ST/ PH
- Self-attested copy of Kanyashree enrollee Certificate/ Document
- Two coloured passport size recent photograph
- Self-attested copy of Vocational pass certificate (if any)
