About AKTU: Formerly known as Uttar Pradesh Technical University (UPTU), the Abdul Kalam Technical University is a public university that was established by the Government of Uttar Pradesh on May 8, 2000. Under the proposal of the management board, the university was bifurcated into Gautam Buddha Technical University and Mahamaya Technical University from May 1, 2010.
Approximately 800 colleges are affiliated with AKTUand they consider the UPSEE score for admission to different courses offered by them. After the counselling is over for UPSEE, the aspirants of Pharmacy can take admission into different B Pharma colleges affiliated to AKTU.
