NDRI Result and Counselling 2018 details for the admission to National Dairy Research Institute's BTech Programme is available here on this page below. NDRI result for the exam conducted in May 2018 will be going to be declared in the form of the merit list which will be declared in the second week of June 2018. The merit list will be prepared on the basis of the marks scored by the qualified candidates. After the result, the NDRI Counselling process will begin, and the tentative dates of the same are given below in the table. Admission shall be made on the basis of merit through All India Entrance Examination conducted by the National Dairy Research Institute, Karnal.

NDRI Result 2018 or merit list of the successful candidates will be released by NDRI on their official website which will be uploaded here. The merit list showing the names of the qualified candidate on the basis of written examination held on May 2018 will be displayed in the order of merit on the candidates. No separate intimation will be sent to candidates by letter or fax or any other means in this regard.

Candidate must note that there is no provision for revaluation or rechecking.

NDRI Counselling 2018

NDRI Counselling 2018 first round will be held in the second week of July 2018 after the merit list which will release in June 2018. All original certificates and mark sheets are to be produced at the time of NDRI counselling. Candidates who do not produce all the original certificates and mark sheets will not be admitted.

NDRI Counselling Process 2018

The counselling will be held at NDRI, Karnal. The candidate shortlisted as qualified for counselling based on the merit-rank shall report for counselling in July 2018, for first counselling. Candidates must appear in person at the time of counselling. In case a candidate is not in the position to present him/ herself, an authorized representative can attend the counselling on the production of original certificates and authorization letter.

The candidate will not be considered for admission if he/she does not report for counselling (in person or through the authorized representative).

The candidates must report for counselling at 9.30 A.M. in N.N. Dastur Auditorium, NDRI, Karnal and mark their attendance. Those reporting late will have to register arrival time as a late entry in the attendance register and will be considered for counselling as per latest situation of seats available at that time. The seats already filled up will not be disturbed in such situation.

Immediately after the counselling, candidates are required to deposit counselling fee (Non-refundable) Rs. 5000 to Cashier NDRI, Karnal.
PH category: The candidates belonging to PH category will be called first and offered seat against the category to which they belong. The seats for PH category are 3% of overall seats of B. Tech. (DT) will be filled with the overall number of total seats.
Under-Privileged States (UPS) category: The candidates belonging to Under-Privileged States (UPS) not having any State Agricultural/Veterinary University, will be called after the counselling of candidates belonging to PH category and offered seat against the category (i.e. SC/ ST/ OBC). The seats for UPS category are 2% of overall seats of B. Tech. (DT) will be filled with the overall number of total seats.
SC/ST/OBC: The candidates belonging to other reserved categories will be called in order of ST, SC and OBC after the admission of PH and UPS candidates are over. The seats in SC and ST categories are interchangeable and in case candidates of SC/ ST categories are not available, the seats thus remaining vacant will be filled from general category. Similarly, if the candidates from OBC category are not available, the same will be filled from general category.

General category: The general category candidates will be called for the counselling of candidates of above categories is over. The reserved seats left vacant if any and the vacant seats for the unreserved category will be filled-up from the general category in the order of merit.
