NID Application Form 2018-19 - Apply Online B.Des, M.Des, GDPD Programmes

NID Application Form 2019 to be available from the fourth week of September 2018. The application opens for both Indian and Foreign national candidates. NID application form is filled to appear in the NID entrance exam which is conducted for the admission into design programmes. B.Des programme is offered at NID Ahmedabad. M.Design Offered at NID Ahmedabad, Bengaluru and Gandhinagar Campus and GDPD course offered at NID Kurukshetra and NID Vijayawada. The candidates will be able to fill the NID Application Form till the last week of October 2018.

National Institute of Design also released the NID admission notification as well as the NID brochure for admission to Undergraduate Design Course. The brochure provides all the important information pertaining to the entrance exam, exam date, eligibility criteria, application process and exam mode. NID application is common for following courses:

• B.Design
• M.Design
• GDPD

Given below are the dates that have to be kept in mind related to NID Application Form 2019 

NID Application Form 2019 - Apply Online

The application form for Design Aptitude Test (DAT) is expected to be available from the fourth week of September 2018. The candidates who want to seek admission into design courses offered at NID are required to fill the online NID Application Form. The candidates can fill the NID Application form Online through Internet from any place of convenience.

The last date to fill the application form is expected to be in the last week of October 2018. Hence, the candidates are suggested to fill and submit the application form on or before the due date. The steps are also given below to help the candidates in filling up the application form.

Steps to fill the NID Application Form 2019

The candidates are provided steps to fill the NID Application Form 2019. Therefore, the candidates are suggested to fill the application form for National Institute of Design Entrance Exam by following the steps mentioned below. There are total four steps to be followed.

• STEP 1: Registration: Register on the official website of the National Institute of Design (NID). 

•  STEP 2: Filling up the Application Form: After Registration, the login credentials will be sent to the registered e-mail address and the student has to then login using NID admission Panel. The student can either apply only for B.Design or only for GDPD or for both the courses

• STEP 3: Upload Photograph and Signature: The candidates have to upload the photograph and signature while filling up the Application Form.

Specifications of the Photo and Signature

• Photograph: Candidates have to Upload scanned photograph as per the instructions: 
  • Format: JPEG format
  • Size: 100 KB size
  • The photograph must be recent and should have been taken after 1 September 2015.
  • The photograph must be taken against a white background.
  • If you wear spectacles, glare on glasses is not acceptable in your photo. Spectacles with dark or tinted glasses are not permitted; only clear glasses are permitted.
• Signature: Candidates have to Upload scanned signature as per the instructions: 
  • Format: JPEG format
  • Size: 100 KB size
  • The signature must be in black colour only and must be written against a white background.
  • The signature must be scanned. Mobile phone photographs of signatures are not acceptable.
•  STEP 4: Pay Application Fee and Print: The candidates at the end after filling up the application form need to make the payment of the application fee and submit the application fee.
  • By Online: By Credit/ Debit Card
  • By Offline: By Demand Draft 

NID 2019 Application Fees

NID Application Fee is different for all the categories. The candidates belonging to the respective categories must pay their application fee. The fee has to be paid through online mode only that is  Credit Card/ Debit Card/ Net Banking.

Submission of NID Application Form 2019

In case, of Demand Draft to complete the application process, candidates have to send the demand draft and a printout of your application form in a single envelope, so as to reach the following address before 9 November 2018

Window to Edit NID Application Form

After the submission of the NID Application Form, a Window to edit the NID Application Form will be provided for the students. The Window to edit NID Application Form will open from the third week of November 2018. The candidates will be able to make corrections in their application form till the end of November 2018. The corrections in the NID Application Form will be allowed only in limited entries. The candidates must provide their correct information in the application form. In case any information provided by the candidates is incorrect, then NID will cancel the candidature of that candidate.

Choose NID Exam Centres while filling NID Application Form 2018-19

NID Entrance Exam will be conducted in multiple centres across India. The exam is scheduled to be conducted in 23 cities across multiple centres and the candidates can give the preference of the test centres while filling up the NID Application form.
