IPU BSc Nursing Admission 2019

IPU BSc Nursing Admission 2019 is based on the CET (Common Entrance Test) which is conducted by the University or designated agencies accepted by the University or on the merit of the qualifying degrees. Only Female candidates can apply for the IPU BSc Nursing course. This year CET will be conducted on 1 June 2019 for IPU BSc Nursing Admission and also for other courses of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University (GGSIPU). Candidates, who are willing to get admission in IPU BSc Nursing course are required to appear in the CET.

Candidates who have successfully cleared the CET can get admission in BSc Nursing course in Laxmi Bai Batra College of Nursing which is affiliated to IPU. Laxmi Bai Batra College of Nursing is located in New Delhi and offers a 4-years fulltime BSc Nursing course. Only Female candidates can apply for the IPU BSc Nursing course. Total seats in IPU for BSc Nursing is 50 and the course duration in 4 years.

IPU BSc Nursing Admission 2019 Dates

• Only Female candidates can apply for IPU BSc Nursing course.
• Candidates must have passed 10+2 examination with Science (Physics, Chemistry, and Biology) or equivalent with a minimum aggregate of 50% marks in Physics, Chemistry, Biology provided that the candidate has passed in each subject separately.
• The candidate must also have passed English (core or elective or functional) in the qualifying examination.

Steps to fill the IPU BSc Nursing Application Form 2019

The candidates at times end up making the mistakes while filling up the application form. Hence, to elude this activity, the instructions to fill the form is given below.

Filling up the General Details

• Personal Information: In this section, the candidates have to fill the details such as Exam Category, Name, DOB, Gender, etc.
• Contact Details: Candidates have to fill their contact details such as Address, Contact Number, Email Id, etc.
• Upload Documents: Candidates have to upload the scanned copy of their recent good quality passport size colour photograph, scanned copy of signature and left thumb impression.

Filling up Academic Details

• In the academic details section, the candidates have to fill the details like Year of Passing the examination, Roll No., Percentage etc.  

Declaration and ID & Password

After filling the above details, candidates have to provide the declaration and click on the “Submit” button. After successful submission of the application form, candidate’s Login ID & Password will be displayed on the screen. Candidates must keep the details of their login id and the password secure and safe for further use.

Payment of IPU BSc Application Fee

The IPU BSc Nursing Application fee can be paid through the online mode. Candidates can pay the application fee by using Debit Card/ Credit Card/ Internet Banking. The Application fee, the processing charges, and taxes shall not be refundable under any circumstances. Hence, it is the choice of the candidates to make the payment of the application fee through any mode of their choice.

Submission of Application Form

The application form has to be submitted through the online mode on or before the last date of submission. Candidates should check the filled application form before final submission because details once submitted cannot be modified. After submitting the IPU CET Application Form, the candidates are suggested to keep the printouts of the application form with them for future reference.

Correcting the IPU BSc Application Form

After the submission of IPU BSc Nursing Application Form, if there is any mistake in date of birth, spelling mistake in name of applicants or the parents name or in the choice of category/region claimed for the purpose of availing reservation, the applicant must submit an application in physical form (together with applicable processing fees of Rs. 500) to: Reception, Examination Division, Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University, Delhi.

IPU CET Admit Card 2019

The IPU CET Admit Card can be downloaded through the online mode. Candidates have to log in the website by using ID and Password to download the admit card. The Result of IPU CET BSc nursing will be declared on 10 June 2019 Candidates are informed that “no separate intimation will be sent to the candidates regarding the declaration of results and commencement of counselling/ admission”. The detailed schedule of first counselling/ admissions will be notified prior to the commencement of respective counselling, on the official website of the University. The University will declare and display the ranks of only those candidates who are declared as qualified in the CET 2019. IPU CET Result 2019

IPU CET result will be declared in the form of a pdf, and it contains the name of the candidates who appeared in the exam and also the rank secured by them. The candidates would next be called for counselling. The candidates who were unable to clear CET are not allocated any rank. The result does not contain marks secured by the candidates.

The candidates will be called for counselling/admission depending upon the number of seats available in each programme. The admissions will be made only out of these qualified and eligible candidates strictly in order of merit. The rank of candidates who do not qualify in CET 2019 will not be declared. Applicants should retain a printout of the CET application form as proof of application.

IPU BSc Nursing Counselling Process

Candidates who will qualify the CET examination have to present themselves for counselling and documents verification in person, on the scheduled date and time. The exact date & time will be notified by the University. This ‘Registration for Participation and Verification of documents’ will be valid for both 1st and 2^nd round of counselling. In no case, a candidate will be allowed to participate in the 1st and 2nd round of counselling unless he/she has registered for participation in the counselling.
