• Educational Qualification: The candidates should have passed or going to appear in the year 2018 in class 12 or equivalent examination from any recognised state board, ICSE, CBSE or NIOS board.
• The candidates must have secured a minimum aggregate of 60% marks (50% marks for SC, ST, J & K and northeastern states of Arunachal Pradesh, Assam, Manipur, Mizoram, Nagaland, Sikkim and Tripura) in Physics, Chemistry and Maths/Biology.
• Qualifying Exam: The candidates want to apply for VIT Amaravathi (AP) B. Tech Admissions must appear in VITEEE 2018.

Eligibility Criteria for VIT Amaravathi (AP) M.Tech & PhD Admission 2018

The candidates in order to be eligible for the admission into VIT Amaravathi M.Tech and PhD courses have to fulfil the following requirements:

• Educational Qualification for M.Tech (Integrated): The candidates must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination to apply for the admission into the VIT Amaravathi for M.Tech (Integrated course). No entrance exam is needed for the admission into M.Tech (Integrated) course
• Educational Qualification for PhD: The PhD programme is offered in two specialisations given below
  • PhD in Engineering: Master’s degree in Engineering/ Technology/ Business Administration with a first class or a minimum 60% marks (CGPA 6.5 on a 10 point scale) or equivalent like M.Sc (Engineering)/ M.S. by Research.
  • PhD in Sciences/ Humanities/ Languages: Master’s degree with a minimum 60% in Sciences/ Humanities/ Social Sciences. Master’s degree with a minimum 55% in Languages.

The candidates seeking admission in B. Tech program at VIT Amaravathi have to fill and submit an application form either in online or offline mode. If the candidates filled the application form using online mode and payment has been made via online mode, the candidates have not to send anything through the post.

VIT Admit Card 2018

VITEEE Admit card is needed to appear in VITEEE Exam. The admit card is expected to be available from the third week of March 2018 onwards. The candidates will be able to download the admit card by providing the application number and password. It is to be noticed that the admit card is an important document to be carried at the examination centre.

VITEEE 2018 would be a Computer Based Test. The test would be conducted in the English Language in which there will be no negative marking. The exam would be conducted in three sessions i.e. -

• Session 1- 9.00 AM – 11.30 AM
• Session 2 - 12.30 PM – 3.00 PM
• Session 3- 4.00 PM – 6.30 PM

• First, the candidates have to appear in VITEEE 2018 exam scheduled to be held on 4 to 15 April 2018.
• After that, the Vellore Institute of technology will declare the result on or before 25 April 2018.
• Based on VITEEE 2018 rank, the candidates will be short-listed and called for the counselling.
• The candidates shortlisted for counselling have to now select VIT Amaravathi as the campus of their choice at the time of counselling.

Note: The counselling for the VIT Vellore, Bhopal and Amaravathi will be held together. VITEEE Rank Holders between 1 to 99999 are eligible to attend the counselling for the admission into VIT University for different campuses based on their rank.
