About VIT International Transfer Program

VIT ITP - International Transfer Program is offered to candidates who want to get Bachelor’s Degree in Technology from a partner foreign University after studying for the two years in the VIT or all 4 years in the University abroad. VIT ITP admissions are done on the basis of VITEEE Score. The application process for VIT ITP International Transfer Program has already started, candidates can apply on or before 28 Feb 2018.

The first batch of VIT International Transfer Program started in the year 2016. For this program VIT University has tie up with foreign universities, the candidates have the opportunity to choose among the 10 listed below universities to complete their last two years of graduation (BTech). After admission to B Tech, the candidates will have two ways to complete the course and get the degree.

The first way is the International Transfer Programme (ITP). ITP is the programme designed for the candidates who want to grab an opportunity of studying abroad. In this programme, the student can complete their first two years of B. Tech from VIT and for the last two years, they can study in USA, UK or Australia from any of these universities which are in partnership with VIT.
The second one is to complete their course in four years from the same university and get an engineering degree, and then it’s up to the candidate whether they want to go for the higher studies or start working.

VIT International Transfer Program Eligibility criteria

The interested candidates should refer the eligibility criteria for before filling the application form. The eligibility criteria will be the same as for VITEEE.

Candidates should have 10+2 or higher secondary education.
Should have scored minimum 60 % in 12^th Grade.
The score obtained in VITEEE will also be applicable.

VIT International Transfer Program Result and Counselling

The result for VIT entrance exam will be out in the month of April. The exam will be conducted from 4-15 April 2018. Students will be selected on the basis of their performance in the entrance examination.

VIT International Transfer Program Exam pattern

VIT ITP is conducted on the basis of the result of VITEEE. So, the exam pattern will also be the same. The exam will be Computer Based Test. The language of the exam will be only English. All the questions will be objective type and no negative marking is there. On the day of exam, the candidates should choose their question paper very carefully from PCME and PCBE.

Duration of exam: 2 Hrs 30 Minutes.
The exam will be conducted in three sessions per day. 1 session: 9.00 AM- 11.30 AM 2 Session: 12.30 PM- 3.00 PM 3 Session: 4.00 PM – 6.30 PM
