IIM Lucknow Admission 2018 will be done on the basis of CAT (Common Admission Test) that conducted on 26 November 2017. All the Post Graduate Management Programme offered in IIM Lucknow are equivalent to MBA Degree. IIM Lucknow also known as IIML is one of the premier Business School in India. It is the Fourth Indian Institute of Management and was established in the year 1984 after IIM Bangalore. IIM Lucknow Courses

IIM Lucknow serves as the mentor Institutions for the newly opened IIMs that is IIM Rohtak and IIM Kashipur.

IIM Lucknow accepts CAT Scores for the following programs and there the candidates need to apply separately for these courses given below:

• PGPM: Post Graduate Programme in Management (PGPM) is a two-year full-time residential program.
• PGP-ABM: Post Graduate Programme in Agri-Business Management is a two-year full-time residential program.
• PGP-SM: Post Graduate Programme in Sustainable Management (PGPSM) is a two-year residential program that is conducted by IIM Lucknow at its Noida campus.

The candidates who want to pursue executive programs from IIM Lucknow need to fill a separate Application Form. The executive programs offered by IIML are:

• WMP: The Working Managers’ Program
• IPMX: International Programme in Management

CAT 2017

Academic Qualification: The candidate must have a Bachelor’s Degree with a minimum of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/PwD) marks or equivalent CGPA.

The final year appearing Bachelor’s Degree/equivalent qualification candidates and those who have completed the Graduation and are waiting for the results may also apply. If such candidate gets selected they will be permitted to join the Institute only if they must submit a certificate latest by the last week of June 2018, from the Principal/Registrar of his/her college.

Calculating the Percentage of Marks: In case the candidates are awarded grades/CGPA instead of marks, the conversion of grades/CGPA to percentage of marks would be based on the procedure certified by the university/ institution from where they have obtained the bachelor’s degree.

• If the university/institution does not have any scheme for converting CGPA into equivalent marks, the equivalence would be established by dividing the candidate’s CGPA by the maximum possible CGPA and multiplying the result with 100.

List of Equivalent Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in Engineering/Technology (4 years after 10+2/Post B.Sc./Post Diploma ) or B.E/B.Tech equivalent examinations, of Professional Societies, recognized by MHRD/UPSC/AICTE (e.g. AMIE by Institution of Engineers -India, AMICE by the Institute of Civil Engineers-India).

• Any Qualification recognized by Association of Indian Universities New Delhi, which is equivalent to a Bachelor’s Degree awarded by UGC recognized University/Institutions.

IIM Lucknow PGP-SM Eligibility

• Academic qualification: Candidates must possess a Bachelors’s Degree or equivalent Degree in any discipline with minimum marks of 50% (45% in case of SC/ST/PwD).
• Work Experience: The candidates must have a work experience of at least two years.
• If selected for admission, the candidate will have to submit a Statement of Purpose in the specified format.

IIM Lucknow  PGP-ABM Eligibility

Academic Qualification: The candidates must have a Bachelor’s Degree with 50% marks or equivalent CGPA (45% in case of SC/ST and PwD) in Agricultural Science/Agricultural Engineering or Allied subjects as follows:

• Agriculture, Agronomy, Soil Science, Agriculture Biochemistry, Agricultural Economics, Agricultural Extension, Plant Breeding and Genetics, Entomology, Plant Pathology etc
• Agricultural Engineering
• Animal Husbandry Fisheries
• Dairy Science/Technology
• Forestry
• Food Technology, Food Technology & Management
• Horticulture
• Rural Studies/Rural Sociology/Rural Cooperatives/Rural Banking
• Biology, Biochemistry, Bio-Technology, Botany, Home Science, Life Science, Zoology
• Veterinary Science

The degree must be awarded by any of the Universities incorporated by an act of the central or state legislature in India or other educational institutions established by an act of Parliament or declared to be deemed as a University under Section 3 of the UGC Act, 1956, or possess an equivalent qualification recognized by the Ministry of HRD, Government of India.

• It is to be noted that in both the case, the Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification obtained by the candidate must entail a minimum of three years of education after completing Higher Secondary schooling or equivalent with at least two years’ experience or strong interest in the field of Agriculture or allied sector.

IIM Lucknow has no separate Registration Process for the courses in which admission is done on the basis of CAT. The candidates have to apply for CAT and need to score the required percentile in CAT exam. CAT Registration Process will start from 9 August 2017.

IIM Lucknow Fees of PGPM, PGP-AM, PGP-SM  have been given below, Applicants have to pay the course fee in instalments as shown in the table below, The yearly fee of the IIM Lucknow for the PGPM, PGP-AM, PGP-SM courses in Rs 7 Lacs which makes the total of Rs 14 Lacs which is the full courses fee of IIM.

IIM Lucknow Admission will be based on the CAT scores obtained by the candidates. The selected candidates need to appear in the Writing Ability Test and then Personal Interview at IIM Lucknow after which their Final IIM Admission Merit list will be prepared. The Shortlisted candidates of PGP-SM Programme need to submit a Statement of Purpose (SoP). The Total Selection procedure at IIM is classified in detail below for the 2018-20 Batch of PGP/PGP-ABM/PGP-SM Programme.

Note: Applicants need to score minimum 12 marks out of 40 to be eligible for the next rounds. Names of candidates who do not pass in PI will not be included in the final merit list. Final discretion on the academic category that an academic program will be classified into rests with the Admissions Committee of IIM Lucknow

IIM Lucknow Scholarship 2018

IIM Lucknow provides the following scholarships for PGPM, PGP-ABM and PGP-SM Programmes:

Need-Based IIML Scholarship: IIM Lucknow provides need-based Scholarship up to 15% of the student based on the annual income of their family which should not exceed more than Rs. 1,50,000. The eligible students are selected in order of merit for a period of one academic year. The scholarship covers the tuition fees component of the total fees charged by the Institute.

Merit-Cum-Means Scholarships: The Government of India is available to a maximum of 25% of the students with a scholarship of Rs. 2200. Bharti Scholarship of Rs. 50,000 per annum has been instituted by Bharti enterprises for meritorious and needy students (annual income not exceeding Rs. 1.08 lakhs). The scholarship continues for both years of the PGP.

SC/ST Scholarships: The scholarship amount of Rs. 1500 is given to SC/ST students by Government of India who is admitted to this Programme.

Bullet Loan Schemes: IIML has made arrangements with banks, other financial institutions, and charitable organisations to provide loans for all needy students to finance their educational expenses at IIML. The banks which have developed loan schemes for IIML students include State Bank of India, Central Bank of India, Punjab National Bank and Allahabad Bank

Industry-Sponsored Scholarships: This Scholarship is awarded to only PGP and PGP-AM students. These scholarships are provided after the end of every academic year and the amount of scholarship ranges from Rs. 6,000 to Rs. 1,00,000 per annum. The benefactors are Hindustan Lever Ltd., Reckitt Benckiser, Aditya Birla, Ratan Tata, Citibank, EXIM Bank, Hughes Software Systems, Nestle India Ltd., Central Bank of India, Apeejay Trust and Bharti Foundation.
