About SNAP 2018

Symbiosis National Aptitude Test or SNAP 2018 registration has started from 28 August 2018. SNAP exam is an MBA Entrance exam that is conducted by Symbiosis International Deemed University for admission to MBA programmes in 15 affiliated Symbiosis MBA Colleges. Management aspirants must note that  SNAP exam date is 16 December 2018. Candidates can apply for SNAP 2018 till 26 November 2018. The SNAP 2018 entrance test will be held in computer-based mode across 92 Indian cities.

Before applying for SNAP 2018, candidates must make sure that they fulfil the eligibility norms. Also, after applying for SNAP exam, candidates are required to apply for the participating colleges as well. Symbiosis National Aptitude Test 2018 will contain a total of 130 Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs) and candidates will be allotted 120 minutes to complete the same. The questions will be further divided between normal questions and special questions. The total marks SNAP exam is 150 only. SNAP 2018 Registration 

The candidates can fill the SNAP 2018 registration form in online mode only. The candidates are suggested to thoroughly read the instructions from the SNAP Brochure before filling the SNAP Registration Form.

The step by step SNAP registration Process is given below:

  • Step 1: Register online on the official website of SNAP
  • Step 2: Fill the application form for SNAP 2018 Registration by providing the required details
  • Step 3: Upload scanned passport size photograph
  • Step 4: Pay the SNAP Registration Fee

Note: Also, aspirants must note that they are required to register separately for the participating institutes and required to pay a fee separately.

SNAP 2018 Application fee

Applicants are required to pay the non-refundable fee of SNAP 2018, which is Rs. 1750 only. The SNAP registration fee can be paid through the following methods -

SNAP 2018 Eligibility criteria

It is mandatory for every SNAP 2018 aspirant to fulfil the eligibility norms. Failing to meet any of the SNAP eligibility criteria will lead to cancellation of candidature. Also, the eligibility norms of SNAP 2018 will vary with the category of candidates. Check the points below to know about the SNAP 2018 eligibility criteria -

  • For National Nationals: Candidates must be a graduate from a recognised university with at least 50 % aggregate marks. However, the aspirants appearing for their final year of qualifying exams are also eligible to apply
  • For International Nationals: Here, the aspirants are required to have the minimum qualification from any foreign university and also have obtained an equivalence certificate from Association of Indian Universities (AIU)

SNAP 2018 Exam pattern

SNAP 2018 will be conducted in the online mode like last year. The test will be conducted in the English Language. Check the table below for a glimpse of SNAP exam pattern 2018.

SNAP Syllabus 2018

It is important for candidates to know about the syllabus of SNAP 2018. With the help of SNAP syllabus 2018, aspirants will be able to know about the topics and sub-topics of MBA programmes on which the questions will be based. The online test will contain 130 Multiple Choice Questions, and candidates will be given 2 hours to complete the test. In the question booklet, there will be four sections. Check the list of some of the topics on which the questions will be based -

  • General English: Analogy, Synonyms and Antonyms, Fill in the blanks, Odd one out, Idioms, One-word substitution
  • Analytical & Logical Reasoning: Family and Blood Relations, Analogy, Coding, Visual Reasoning, Seating arrangement, Direction Sense, Clocks and Calendar
  • Quantitative, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency: Quantitative Ability, Data Interpretation, HCF & LCM, Profit & Loss, Algebra, Averages, Percentage, Equations, Mean, Probability
  • Current Affairs: Personalities, Awards, Sports, Science and Technology, International events, Geography, Entertainment, History, Politics

The score of SNAP 2018 will be accepted by 15 institutes affiliated to Symbiosis International University. For every SNAP Colleges 2018, candidates are required to apply separately. SNAP 2018 Exam Centres

This year, SNAP 2018 will be conducted across 92 cities. While filling the application form, candidates can enter at least three test cities, and based on their preference, a test city will be allotted. Address of the SNAP exam centre will be mentioned on the admit card of the candidates. On the day of the test, candidates must make sure that they reach the test centre as per the mentioned schedule along with the SNAP admit card and other required documents. SNAP Admit Card 2018

SNAP 2018 Admit Card will be available for download for the candidates who have successfully filled and submitted the SNAP registration form. It is an important document for the candidates who are appearing for the exam. The candidates are required to carry a hard copy of the SNAP Admit Card to their allotted exam centre without any failure. They are also required to carry any one of the photo ID proof:

  • Passport
  • Voter ID Card
  • Driving license
  • Pan Card
  • AADHAR Card (UID)
  • College or Institute Identity Card
  • Credit card with photograph

SNAP Question Papers

To boost up the preparation for SNAP 2018, candidates are advised to practice the previous years' SNAP question papers. With the help of these question papers, SNAP aspirants will become familiar with the test pattern, the distribution pattern of the questions and topics, etc. Also, solving them on a regular basis, candidates will be able to complete the whole paper within 2 hours, which is the exam duration.

After solving each SNAP 2018 question paper, candidates are required to analyse their answers. After analysing the answers, aspirants will be able to know about their weakness and strengths.

SNAP 2018 Exam Day Guidelines

It is necessary for candidates to know about the SNAP exam day guidelines. Failing to meet any of the norms of the guidelines of SNAP 2018, then the candidates won't be allowed to enter the exam hall and write the exam. Some of the important SNAP 2018 exam day guidelines are as follows - 

  • Candidates must reach the test centre as per the timing mentioned on the admit card
  • The SNAP admit card must be brought to the exam hall along with a valid photo ID
  • No candidate will be allowed to carry any electronic device inside the exam hall
  • Candidates must avoid carrying any copy or piece of paper inside the exam hall

SNAP 2018 Result

SNAP Result will be announced online and it will provide the overall and sectional scores of candidates. To download SNAP result 2018, candidates are required to enter their Login ID and Password. The candidates who clear the SNAP 2018 Test will be shortlisted for GE (Group Exercise), PI (Personal Interview), and WAT (Written Ability Test).

SNAP 2018 Merit List

The candidates who will get qualified in the SNAP 2018 test will have to pay Rs. 1000 in each Institute they have applied for. SNAP Merit List about the Weightage for admission to MBA programs in various affiliated Institutes of Symbiosis International University will be displayed on their respective official website. SNAP Merit List will be based on the following parameters:

SNAP 2018 Cut Off

The cutoff scores of SNAP 2018 are the minimum marks that candidates are required to obtain to get shortlisted for the admission rounds.
