JCECE 2018: Result forJCECE 2018 (Jharkhand Combined Entrance Examination) has been postponed due to technical snags and is now scheduled to be declared on 26 June 2018. JCECE 2018 exam is conducted by Jharkhand Combined Entrance Competitive Examination Board for admission in State Universities/ Colleges/ Institutions in the academic session 2018-19. JCECE 2018 will be conducted for admission in B.V. Sc. & A.H., B.Sc. (Hons.) Agriculture, B.Sc. (Hons.) Forest, B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture, B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering), B.Tech. (Dairy Technology), B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science) courses within the state of Jharkhand.

JCECE Eligibility criteria

Domicile: Candidate must be a citizen of India and Permanent and Local resident of Jharkhand.

Age limit: There is no age bar for appearing in JCECE engineering entrance exam and BHMS. However to apply for the B.Sc. Agriculture, B.Sc. Forestry course through JCECE, the candidates should be minimum 17 years and maximum 22 years as on 1 July 2018.

Physical Criteria: The medical checkup of the applicants recommended for the admission in all the courses will be done by the Board and only fit candidates will be treated eligible for the admission.

Academic Qualifications

The academic qualification for all courses is given below. The candidates can find the qualification details below.

  • B.Sc. Agriculture/ B.Sc. Forestry: Candidate must have passed Class 12 or equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry along with Mathematics or Biology/ Biotechnology.
  • B.Sc. (Hons.) Horticulture: Candidate must have passed Class 12/ Intermediate with PCB, PCMB, PCM, PC Forestry or Inter (Agriculture) (P-Physics, C-Chemistry, M-Mathematics, B-Biology) from a recognized Board/University.
  • B.V.Sc. & A.H.: Intermediate in Science (10+2) or its equivalent examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as core course from a recognized Board/ University. 
  • B.Tech. (Agriculture Engineering or Dairy Technology): Candidates must have clear Class 12 with PCM (P-Physics, C-Chemistry, M-Mathematics) from a recognized Board/ University.
  • B.F.Sc. (Bachelor of Fisheries Science): Candidates must have clear Class 12 examination with PCMB/ PCB/Inter (Agriculture) from recognized Board/ University.

JCECE Application form and Admit Card

Candidates are informed that the JCECE application process will be conducted in online mode only, there is no offline process. The JCECE application has started on 16 April 2018 at the official website of JCECEB. The candidates have to fill & submit the JCECE application form on or before the due date i.e. 10 May 2018. Interested candidates can click on the following link to fill the online application form of JCECE.

Submission of JCECE Application Form

JCECE Application Form can be submitted in online mode only by 10 May 2018. There is no need to send any hard copy of Confirmation Page or any other document to the authorities. Online submission of the form is itself sufficient to complete the application process. However, candidates are advised to retain 2 to 3 copies of application form for future reference.

JCECE 2018 Admit Card

JCECE Admit Card 2018 is expected to be available for download on the official website of JCECE Board in the first week of May 2018. JCECE Admit Card will be issued to only those candidates who have submitted their JCECE Application Form. JCECE Admit card needs to be downloaded and kept safe for future use during the admission process. The admit cards for JCECE will not be dispatched through post or any other medium and no correspondence in this regard will be entertained. JCECE Fees

JCECE 2018 Application fee can be paid in online mode which is given in details below. The candidates who have filled the JCECE 2018 Application form needs to pay the Application fee according to the category they belong. Candidates can check the amount of application fee along with the group for which they have applied for in the table given below.

JCECE Result and Counselling

JCECE 2018 Result will now be declared on 26 June 2018 by JCECEB. The result was supposed to be announced on 25 June 2018 but was postponed due to some technical issues. There will be a combined merit list along with category wise Merit list for all candidates appeared in the JCECE 2018. To know the JCECE 2018 Result and the details about the merit list, the candidates are suggested to follow the link given below.

JCECE Counselling 2018

Computerized Distributed Parallel counselling would be conducted by the Board to offer admission to the students in State Universities/ Colleges/Institutions in the academic session 2018-19. The counselling schedule will be declared by JCECEB. The counselling will be held in two rounds i.e. round first and round second.

The complete detail about the JCECE Counselling is yet to be released and as soon as it gets released, the same will be notified and updated on the website of motachashma.com.

JCECE Exam pattern

  • Total Questions: 150 Multiple Choice Questions in PCM/PCB and 200 Multiple Choice Questions in PCMB. Each Question carries one mark.
  • The language of Question Paper: The medium for examination shall be English and Hindi both.
  • Negative Marking: There will be negative marking, for every incorrect answer ¼ marks will be deducted from the total score.

JCECE Exam Pattern - Distribution of Questions

Candidates have to mark the answer in the OMR answer sheet with Black Ball Point Pen of Good Quality. Candidate will not do any rough work or writing work on the OMR Response Sheet.

JCECE 2018 Exam Centre

JCECE 2018 for PCB, PCM, PCMB Group will be conducted only in Ranchi. In the JCECE exam centre, use of electronic devices like mobile, calculator, etc. is not permitted. Material like log table, book, notebook, etc. should not be brought in to the examination hall.
