Sainik School Admission Age Limit is set by Sainik School Society for students who wish to appear admission to Class 6 and 9. Only boys aspirants willing to appear for Sainik School admission must meet the certain age limit as prescribed by the authority. Sainik School Lucknow Admission 2018-19

There are 26 Sainik Schools in India, of which Sainik School Lucknow is the only one which is being administered by the UP State Government. All the remaining 25 Sainik Schools are being centralized by the Ministry of Defence (MoD) i.e. Central Government. Apart from this, the UP Sainik School also conducts Sainik School admission 2018 for candidates who wish to study in Class 7 and 9. Sainik School Lucknow Admission Age Limit 

The applications are invited from candidates born between the dates as given below for UP Sainik School Lucknow admission 2018-19. 

  1. Sainik School Admission Age Limit for Class 7 (Boys aspirants) – Only male candidates who were born from 2 July 2007 to 1 January 2009 (both dates inclusive) can apply for Sainik School Lucknow admission.
  2. Sainik School Admission Age Limit for Class 9 (Girl aspirants) – Aspirants must be born from 2 July 2005 to 1 January 2007 (including both dates) are eligible to appear for Sainik School Lucknow entrance examination.

Question: What is the Sainik School Admission age limit for admission to Class 6 and 9?

Answer: As mentioned above, candidates willing for admission to Class 6 must be of 11-12 years and aspirants wish to study in Class 9 must be of 13-14 years old, as on 1 July 2019.

Applicants applying for Class 6 must be born from 2 July 2008 to 1 July 2009, while students appearing for Class 9 should be born from 2 July 2005 to 1 July 2006.

Question: Can a student studying in class 9 and fulfilling the age limit give the Sainik School entrance examination?

Answer: Yes, they can. Until and unless students are fulfilling the Sainik School admission age limit 2018 criteria, they can appear for entrance examination. However, such aspirants have to re-appear in Class 9.

Question: If a student is studying in a school in India which is not affiliated to CBSE or any other board and has studied up to Class 5. Is he eligible to appear for Sainik School admission 2018-19 after Class 5?

Answer: As per the information brochure of Sainik School Society, it has not been mentioned that aspirants must be studying in Class 5 from a recognized school. The only condition mentioned in related to Sainik School age limit 2018 which has been mentioned above.

However, in Sainik School eligibility criteria it has been clearly mentioned that students willing to apply for Class 9 must be studying in Class 8 from a recognized school.
