KVPY Mock Test 

Students who have registered for the KVPY exam 2021 and preparing for the test can use KVPY mock tests for better preparation. Solving the KVPY Mock test will help students to test their time management skills and analyze their preparation. As KVPY exam 2021 will be conducted in online mode, IISc will release the KVPY Mock Test in August to help students understand the online exam mode and get familiar with the computer screen. KVPY Exam Pattern

Before appearing for KVPY Exam 2021, it is very important to check the Exam pattern of the exam. The table given below helps you understand the KVPY Exam Pattern for all the three streams SA/ SB/ SX.

KVPY SA Exam Pattern

For the Stream SA, Part 1 consists of a total of 60 questions of 1 mark each and part 2 has a total of 20 questions of 2 marks each. The entire test is of 100 marks.

KVPY SB/SX Exam Pattern

For the Stream SB/SX, In Part 1, there are a total of 80 questions of 1 mark each. The candidates can choose to attempt any 3 sections. In part 2, there are 40 questions of 2 marks each. The candidates can choose to attempt any 2 sections. The entire test is of 100 marks. The table given below helps you understand the KVPY Exam Pattern:

KVPY Syllabus

The KVPY aptitude test aims to test the understanding and analytical ability of the student than his/her factual knowledge. The students are tested for the syllabus up to class 11/ 12/ 1st year of B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. as applicable. However, there is no prescribed KVPY Syllabus for the aptitude test.

About Exam

KVPY (Kishore Vaigyanik Protsahan Yojana) scholarship programme, administered by IISC Bangalore, encourages young and talented students to take up basic science courses and research careers in science. This fellowship is awarded based on a written exam followed by an interview.

The KVPY Aptitude Exam can be taken by students studying in Class XI, XII or 1st year of any undergraduate program in Basic Sciences, B.Sc./B.S./B.Stat./B.Math./Int. M.Sc./M.S. in Mathematics, Physics, Chemistry, and Biology.
