AMU Admission 2018 - Released!

AMU Admission 2018 application process has started for all of its UG and PG Courses. The candidates can get admission details on the official webpage of Aligarh Muslim University as well as on this page. Aligarh Muslim University (AMU) is one of the oldest premier Central Universities in India. AMU Admission 2018 is based on the entrance examinations conducted by Aligarh Muslim University itself. There is an increase in the intake of the seats. For LLM course it would be from 25 to 35 seats and for BA LLB course at AMU Main Campus it will be increased from 100 to 120 seats.

AMU conducts various entrance examination for admission in UG and PG level courses. The entrance tests of AMU Admission 2018 will begin from 15 April 2018.

AMU has released the official dates of application and exam for is all UG courses that are given below. The last date for the submission of the application form is also mentioned in the table.

There are some test courses and others are Non-Test courses that are offered in AMU. The list of these courses given in this table are the ones which will base admission on an entrance exam

AMU Admission 2018 - AMU Application Form

The candidates have to fill the application form for AMU Admission 2018 in undergraduate/ postgraduate programs. The AMU Admission 2018 Application Form can be filled and submitted in online mode only. Candidates are advised to check the details of the duly filled application form before the final submission. Candidates should keep the printout of filled application form for future reference. Candidates have to fill separate Application Form for each program.

Entrance Exam for AMU Admission 2018

Aligarh Muslim University takes admission in its programs on the basis of entrance examinations conducted by itself or Government Authority. The entrance examinations of AMU Admission 2018 will begin from 15 April 2018. Each program offered by AMU has its own entrance examination. To get admission in AMU, candidates must have clear these exams. Entrance examinations for each program are mentioned below:

Eligibility Criteria for AMU Admission 2018

UG Program: The candidates who want to get admission in the undergraduate program of AMU must have to clear 12 class from any recognised university with minimum aggregate of 50% marks.

• Age limit for Graduate Courses: Maximum 24 years

PG Program: The candidates who want to get admission in the postgraduate program must have clear Bachelor's degree with at least 50% marks or a degree recognised by the University or Masters degree with at least 50% marks of this University or its equivalent.

• Age limit for Postgraduate Courses: Maximum 27 years

AMU Admit Card 2018

AMU Admit Card 2018 will be available on the official website of the University. The candidates can download the Admit Card by entering their Transaction ID and Course Name. Candidates are required to paste their recent passport size colour photograph in the space provided on the downloaded admit card.

AMU Admit Card will have the details of the allotted test centre of the candidate. Candidate must keep AMU Admit Card till the complete admission process gets over.

AMU Result 2018

AMU Result 2018 will be declared on the official website of the university. Those candidates who appeared in AMU Entrance Exams are requested to keep a track on all the information that would be shared on the official website. Candidates selection will be finalised on the basis of ranks secured in the entrance examination.
