COMEDK 2016 was for admission to various undergraduate engineering, MBBS, BDS courses in member participating institutions for the academic session 2016-17. It is for admission into the private quota seats of the participating colleges. But after the order passed by Honorable Supreme Court of India, the admission to MBBS and BDS will be based on NEETScore.
14 Medical, 24 Dental and 180 engineering colleges in Karnataka who make available almost 20,000 seats takes admission through COMEDK UGET 2016.
Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka Under Graduate Entrance Test (COMEDK UGET) is conducted by Consortium of Medical Engineering and Dental Colleges of Karnataka (COMEDK).
The COMEDK Chief Executive in a notice has announced that the test will be conducted keeping in mind the ‘triple test criteria’ of being fair, transparent and non-exploitative so as to ensure merit-based admissions through a single common entrance test followed by centralized counselling.
KPCF and KUPECA have entrusted COMEDK with the responsibility of conducting the entrance examination and seat selection process.

Duration of MBBS: 41/2 year course + one-year internship
Duration of BDS: 4 years course + one-year internship.
COMEDK UGET MBBS/BDS Application form and Admit Card
COMEDK UGET Application Process has begun from February 8, 2016. The last date to submit the Online Application form is April 4, 2016, till 11:59 PM

COMEDK 2016 Application Form is not similar to other Entrance Examination Application Form in many ways. All the desirous candidates have to follow the two steps:
Firstly they have to register themselves.
Secondly, After Registration only they will be allowed to fill the Online Application Form
Application Process for MBBS/BDS
The Application Process has been divided into two stages:
Stage 1: RFA: The Candidates have to register themselves by sending a request for anApplication form called ‘Request for Application (RFA).
Stage 2: OAF: After Stage 1 is successfully completed, the candidates get an opportunity to not only fill up Online Application Form (OAF) but also, can check the status of Application at various stages.
Candidates have to take the printout of the filled in application form on A4 Size sheet of paper.
Further, they have to get the Principal seal and signature from the college where they have last studied in the space provided in the printed application form.
Submission of COMEDK 2016 Application Form
After cross checking with the criteria for rejection of COMEDK UGET 2016 Application Form provided separately, candidates have to submit the Application Form via two modes of payment:
Online & Offline
The Application fee of COMEDK UGET is Rs. 1200 for three subjects (PCB/PCM) i.e. for MBBS/BDS or BE and Rs. 1500 for all the four subjects (PCMB) i.e. (MBBS/BDS and BE).
Test Centers for COMEDK
Candidates need to select the Test City from the 140 test center in the online application form. The test cities are allotted to candidates on a first come first serve basis, subject to availability. However, COMEDK reserves the right to allot any other test city other than the city chosen by the candidate.
