World No Tobacco Day- Short Film Contest

• In order to increase awareness about the adverse causes of consuming Tobacco, the WNTD Kerala State Organizing Committee is conducting a contest for students.
• The Participants have to make a short film to participate in the contset.
• All the movies have to be made within the following larger themes. The larger themes of the competition includes-

1. Raise Tobacco Taxes
2. Enforce Tobacco Control Laws
3. Tobacco and health
4. Tobacco and youth

• Only the first 100 entries to the competition will be considered for evaluation

First Prize : Rs 10,000

Second Prize : Rs 5,000

Third Prize : Rs, 3,000

Two Consolation Prizes : Rs 1,000/- each

Along with this, the winners will get a memento and a certificate.

How to send your entry for participation in the Short Film Contest?

E-mail Submission of your Entry: Send your film entry of not more than 25 MB as attachment to wntdkerala2014@gmail.com on or before the deadline along with (a) fully completed and self-attested articulars/Consent Form and (b) self-attested document showing proof of age.

Eligibility for the entries for qualification

• Only the first 100 entries will be considered
• The movie has to be sent in “.mov” or “.jpeg” format
• The movie can be recorded from a mobile camera, handycam, digital recorder or camcorder.
• The movie has to be minimum for 30 sec and maximum for 1 minute.

A jury panel of noted filmmakers and medical experts of repute will evaluate the films
