The Kontinent Awards 2014 | Photography Award

• Artlica Agency is organizing the annual photography awards for amateur and professional photographers.
• Awards aim to honor best photographers in the world of photography and provide them global recognition.
• There are 6 main categories in the International Kontinent Photography Awards 2014
  • Category 1: Advertising 
  • Category 2: Fine Art - Single Image
  • Category 3:Fine Art - Projects
  • Category 4: Editorial/DocumentarySingle Image
  • Category 5:Editorial/Documentary - Projects
  • Category 6: Nature - Single Image

 Winners will be announced on the awards website in June 2014.

• Winning photographers' will receive major awards including exhibition, book publishing, representation as well as product prizes from the sponsors.

  Category Winners in each of the six category will receive

• Worldwide Press and Exposure

  In addition to above the Title award winner in the Fine Art Category's photograph would also be Showcased in Artlica Projects for 1 year

  Awards for 2nd Place, 3rd Place Winners of Each Category are;

   

• Award Certificate and Seal Winning photograph will be exhibited in online exhibition

• Winning photograph will be published in Kona #2 Annual Book

• Worldwide Press and Exposure

  Winning works and projects will be published by our media partners.

  Also several Honorable Mentions will be given for the successful photographs from each category. These photographs will be exhibited in online exhibition and photographers will receive HM certificates

The Applicant can submit their work by two modes

• Online Submission on the Website >> Submit your work
• Through E-mail- The applicant has to send the unzipped photographs to submissions@kontinentawards.com

Guidelines for Photograph Submission: 

The candidates should prepare their images. The images should fulfill the following requirements-

• Images must be saved as JPG, 72 dpi, max quality and not exceed 1500 pixels in height or width
• Images must be smaller than 4MB
• Images must not have any embedded marks, logos, names or borders
• Advertising
  • it includes Commercial, Fashion, Product and Still Life.
  • Photo manipulations are allowed.

•  Fine Art 

  • It includes Abstract, Architecture, Landscape, Portrait and Photo Collage.
  • Photo manipulations are allowed.

  Editorial/Documentary 

  •  It includes Photojournalism, People, Sports, Reportage, News, Culture. Minor corrections (color corrections, cropping etc.) are acceptable.
  • Any changes to the original photograph (adding or removing objects etc.) are unacceptable.

 Fees for Submission of Photographs

• Single images: $10 USD
  • We also provide a discount to 3 photograph entries for $25
• Projects: $30 USD
  • A project is a Two to five (2-5) photographs that share the same theme or concept and same title.
  • Your work will be judge as whole not individually

All payments are supposed to be made through PayPal.

Candidates will receive their confirmation within 24 hours.

Photographs will be judged on artistic merit, originality, subject and style by the jury members.
