Taipei International Design Award (TIDA) 2015

• Taipei International Design Award (TIDA) 2015 is being organized by Department of Economic Development, Taipei City Government. Taipei International Design Award 2015 are open for everyone and there is no registration fee to participate in the Awards.
• TIDA started in 2008 and in the year 2014 more than 13,335 works were received from 65 countries.
• For the year 2015, no theme has been proposed for Taipei International Design Award (TIDA), so that the designers can use their full potential and come up with incredible ideas to shape the brand image of Taipei City.
• In TIDA 2015, prizes more than 3 million New Taiwan Dollar will be offered.

Taipei International Design Award 2015 Rewards

The competition is being organized under 3 different categories, and the same awards will be given to the winners of all the categories:

• Golden Award: The cash reward offered with Golden Award is NTD 500,000 (Approx. INR 10,00,000)
• Silver Award: To the winner of the Silver Award, cash prize worth NTD 200,000 (Approx. INR 4,00,000) will be given.
• Bronze Award: The winner of Bronze Award will get a cash prize of NTD 100,000 (Approx. INR 2,00,000)
• Judges’ Special Award: 5 Judges’ Special Awards will be given for each category and the amount of cash prize is of NTD 20,000 (Approx. INR 40,000).
• People's Choice Award: People's Choice Award winner from each of the category will get cash prize worth NTD 10,000 (Approx. INR 20,000).

Taipei International Design Award 2015 Application Process

The Taipei International Design Award will have three categories in which the participants will compete i.e. Industrial Design, Visual Communication Design and Public Space Design. Participate can compete in the category they find appropriate. In order to make applications, the applicants are required to register themselves on the official website of the awards and complete the submission process. The details of the application process are as follow:

• Mode of Participation: In order to compete in Taipei International Design Award 2015, applicants are required to register themselves and go through the verification process.

• Submission of the Entries: In order to complete the submission process participants are required to upload the following documents along with their submission:
  • Design concept Description: A description of the design concept in no more than 500 words written in English.
  • Photographs/Sketches: Maximum 3 photograph of the same work from different angles with the following specifications:
    • Format: jpg/png/bmp
    • Size: W1190*H840 pixels
    • Resolution: Above 72 dpi.
    • Size: Maximum 3 Mb.

Taipei International Design Award 2015 Selection Process

• Participants are required to submit 1:1 miniature model of their project along with posters of 3 posters on A1 size paper.The final judging will be done on after viewing the original work.
• Result: The final selection of the competition will be done on October 14, 2015 and award ceremony will be organized on November 15, 2015
