RMO 2015 Uttarakhand Region

• Regional Mathematical Olympiad 2015- RMO is a gateway for young achievers to participate in International Mathematical Olympiad.
• There are total 25 regions and 3 Independent bodies (CBSE, JNV and KVS) responsible towards successfully conducting the RMOs, on behalf of HBCSE & NBHM and Uttarakhand is one such region.

RMO 2015 Uttarakhand Region

RMO will be held on December 6, 2015 (1 pm-4pm) at 9 centers within the Uttarakhand State and the last date to fill Uttarakhand RMO Application form is November 11, 2015.

List of Test centers for RMO 2015 Uttarakhand Region: Pantnagar, Roorkee, Srinagar (Garhwal), Almora, Dehradun, Nainital, Kotdwar and Hardwar.

Students on qualifying RMO will be chosen henceforth to participate in Indian National Mathematical Olympiad 2015, to be held on January 17, 2016 (between 1-5 pm), a qualifying step to participate in a Worldwide Competition, International Mathematical Olympiad 2016.

Uttarakhand RMO Application Process

Interested students may apply for the Maths Olympiad Exam through their schools/institution. Individual participation is also possible.

Application through Schools/Institution

Candidates have to submit the RMO Application Form in the prescribed format ( typed or photocopies may be used) at their school/institutions and also, to deposit an amount of Rs. 200 >> Download Uttarakhand RMO 2015 Application Form

The school will send the consolidated list of participants and the examination fee collected in form of a Demand Draft, drawn in favor of Coordinator RMO, Uttarakhand payable at Nainital.

Individual application procedure of RMO 2015- Uttarakhand Region

• Application Form- Students who wish to apply individually have to send the Application Form in the prescribed format (typed or photocopies of the form may be used) to the Regional Coordinator, Uttarakhand.
• Payment of Fees
  • By Demand Draft: A DD of Rs. 150 drawn in favor of Coordinator RMO, Uttarakhand payable at Nainital.
  • By Cash: Examination fee may be deposited in cash personally at Nainital, with the Regional Coordinator.
• A self- addressed stamped (affix stamps of Rs. 5) envelope should be sent with the application form for dispatch of the admit card.

Admit Card

Applied Through School: Students participating through school/institution shall contact the School authority to get admit cards for RMO 2015 Uttarakhand Region.

Applied Individually: Those who have submitted the individual application form will receive their Admit Cards by post (in the self addresses envelope sent with the application form) by Regional Coordinator, Uttarakhand.

RMO Uttarakhnad Region answer scripts will be evaluated as per the evaluation scheme and the selection will be based on marks obtained by the respective candidate.
