RMO 2016-Madhya Pradesh Region

• RMO 2016- Madhya Pradesh Region is the preliminary stage of the International Mathematical Examination IMO 2016 which will be organized in Rio De Janerio, Brazil.
• Participation to RMO 2016- Madhya Pradesh Region is open only for students of class 8, to 11.
• On the basis of the marks obtained by the candidates in the RMO 2016 Madhya Pradesh Region only 300 candidates will be selected who will compete in the next stage i.e. RMO.
  • Out of the students appearing in RMO only 30 candidates will be selected to compete in the Indian National Mathematical Olympiad (INMO).
• The RMO 2016 Madhya Pradesh Region will be conducted on October 16, 2016 and the admit cards of the students will be issued by the Head of the respective institution where the student will appear in the examination.

RMO Madhya Pradesh Important Dates 2016

On the basis of the marks obtained by candidates in RMO 2016, a merit list will be prepared and the top 300 students will be selected for the next stage of the examination i.e. RMO 2016.

• RMO 2016 will be organized at State Institute of Science Education and Teachers Training College, Jabalpur.
• The exact information regarding the dates of the examination will be made available with the result of the RMO 2016-Madhya Pradesh.

The application process of RMO 2016- Madhya Pradesh Region is by the means of schools only. The details of the application process are as follow:

• Application Form: The examination of RMO 2016 will be organized in respective schools and the principal of the schools should forward the details of the candidates appearing in the RMO 2016.
  • Individual applications will not be accepted for the RMO 2016
• Examination Fee: The examination fee for the applicants is Rs. 75 per candidate. The payment of the amount can be done by a Demand Draft issued in favor of ‘Director, State Institute of Science Education’ payable at Jabalpur.
  • Late Fee: The applications after the due date will be accepted with the examination fee of Rs. 100 for each candidate.
  • The institute should submit a single Demand Draft where the total amount needs to be the multiple of 75/100 and the number of participating students.

The application form is to be submitted to the Director of the examination by the means of Speed Post or Registered Post on the address mentioned below:

The selection of the candidates will be done on the basis of the marks obtained by the student in the RMO 2016.

• Out of all the students who appeared in the examination only 300 will be selected and will compete in the RMO stage of the Olympiad Examination.
