MSc Scholarship 2016 at Heriot-Watt University

Institute of Petroleum Engineering at Heriot-Watt University is offering IPE 40th Anniversary Scholarship 2016 to international applicants to its M.Sc (Petroleum Engineering) Program. The scholarship applies to the applicants to the Edinburgh campus for entry in the academic year 2016-17 only and it cannot be deferred to another year.

The scholarship is for all the International Applicants except the European Union and United Kingdom applicants. The last date of application is May 1, 2016, Sunday,  23:59 (UK time).

The Institute of Petroleum Engineering scholarship aims to; 

• Provide financial support to International students (outwith the European Union).
• Recognises the challenges currently faced by the international Oil and Gas Industry.

George Heriot and James Watt took an initiative to provide practical and applied learning. The university has its branches in Malaysia, Dubai and UK.

The applicant will get £3,000 each and the number of awards may vary as per the discretion of the university.

The candidates can apply for all postgraduates program except Edinburg Business School using the online mode. For business school program at Edinburg, the candidates have to visit the Edinburg Business School website.

• NonRefundable Payment- Candidates have to complete the application and acceptance process and pay a non-refundable sum of £4,000 to Heriot- Watt University before May 1, 2016.

The subject line of the E-mail must be “IPE 40th Anniversary Scholarship 2016”,  the candidate must also mention his/her Program Application number in the subject line.
