About Kshitij International Child Art Exhibition

KSHITIJ 19th International Child Art Exhibition 2017 hopes for a wonderful response from young upcoming artists & people from all sections of the globe. KSHITIJ 19th International Child Art Exhibition 2017 is a painting competition where the students can make paintings/artwork through Water Colors, Pastels, Pencils or Paper Cuttings etc.on any theme. The last date for participation for Exhibition is 31 July 2017.

KSHITIJ Foundation, A society formed to promote art by organising exhibitions of paintings, greeting cards, cartoon at the national & international level, conduct the KSHITIJ 19th International Child Art Exhibition. Till the year 2014, KSHITIJ has organised 7 National & 14 International Child Art Exhibitions. A Staggering figure of 122751 participants from all over the world has been part of the exhibitions organised by KSHITIJ.

For Each Selected group there are 25 Gold Medal and 25 Silver Medal. A separate category of awards is made for Art Teachers, Life Members and Handicap participants.

Kshitij International Child Art Exhibition Reward

For Each Selected group there are 50 Gold Medal and 50 Silver Medal.

  • Every Participant will be awarded a Certificate of Merit.

A separate category of awards is made for Art Teachers, Life Members and Handicap participants.

  • Kshitij Alankaar Award will be awarded to Teacher & Principal who send entries more than 399.
  • Kshitij Ratna Award will be awarded to Teacher & Principal who send entries more than 200.
  • Kshitij Kalashri Award will be awarded to Teacher & Principal who send entries more than 100.
  • Kshitij Prateek Award will be awarded to Teacher & Principal who send entries between 61 to 99.

KSHITIJ 17th International Child Art Exhibition 2017

No. Of Entries to be sent:

  • Institution or School: Institution or School or Group of students are required to submit minimum 20 Entries. There is NO LIMIT for maximum Entries.
    • Below 20 Entries in a case of Institution or School will not be accepted.
  • Life Members of India: Only Life Members of India are allowed to participate individually as well as submit 5 Entries.
  • Life Members of Foreign: International Life Members are required to submit 10 Entries

Specifications of the Entry to be submitted:

  • The entry should be submitted in the form of Painting/Greeting/Cartoon.
  • The Art Work should be done on a paper.
  • Art Work can be made based on any theme.
  • Candidates themselves have to make Art Work.
  • Art work can be made in any medium, like Water Colors, Pastels, Pencils or Paper Cuttings etc
  • Size of painting or Cartoon: Size of the Painting/ Cartoon should not exceed 15" x 11"
  • The size of Greeting: Size of Greeting should not exceed 7"x10".

Rules for the entry to be submitted:

  • No mounted work will be entertained.
  • Entries will not be sent back to the participants.
  • No copied works are allowed.
  • The works aided by some other persons can lead to rejection

Illustration: If a participant sends 2 paintings, 1 greeting, 2 cartoons.

Total Entries : 2+2+2=6

Hence, his entry fees become 5 x Rs. 100 = Rs. 5000(National) and  5 x Rs. 250 = Rs.1250 (International).

Mode of Application Fee Payment:

Institution and schools can pay the Application Fee according to the total number of entries via single Bank Demand Draft/Cheque of the total amount.

Candidates can pay the Application Fee via nay of the Four Modes discussed below.

  • Mode 1: Demand Draft: Bank Demand Draft has to be drawn in favour of " KSHITIJ ", payable at New Delhi or Gurgaon (Haryana).
  • Mode 2: A/c payee Cheque: A/c payee Cheque payable at par through clearing in favour of "KSHITIJ" (Only for National Participant)
  • Mode 3: E-Transfer 
  • Mode 4: Money Order or by cash (only by hand) only for National Participants.

Application Form and entries Important Points:

  • For Entries that are sent from India: For receipt with the parcel of entries in respect of entries sent from within India candidates have to enclose one duly stamped Rs. 5 self-addressed envelope.
  • No need to send a stamped envelope or a self-addressed envelope in case of entries sent from outside India.

Every entry should have on its back the below mentioned three things written ONLY IN CAPITAL LETTERS

  • Participant's Name
  • Group & Class
  • School Name (in Short Form), City & Country

Kshitij International Child Art Exhibition Selection Process

The submitted Entries will be judged by Renowned personality in the respective field.

  • The decision of the jury, formed for this purpose will be final and abiding
  • Result (under online result) & Exhibition of award-winning entries (under gallery option) will be displayed on the website by 30 September 2017.
