JNV Class 11 Admission 2018-19 for Vacant seats - Registration started

JNV Class 11 admission 2018-19 is a lateral entry for those students who have passed class 10 board examination from CBSE/State Education Board. The application form has been released and the direct link to fill online application form is available on this page. The admission will be done to fill the vacant seats in Class 11. JNV Class 11 admission 2018-19 is conducted by Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalaya Samiti and is based on the student’s performance in Class 10 Board examination. The last date for submitting the Application form is 5 July 2018.

The last day to submit the Application form is 5 July 2018. The candidates can fill the online application form now by following the link given below.

The Application form is available now. The candidates must fill all the mandatory details mentioned in JNV application form that is Basic personal details, Academic Information, stream Preference in Class 11. Candidates will have the option to choose 8 preference to choose their JNVs.

JNV Application form Submission

The candidates must submit the duly filled application form online only on or before the due date.

The selected students will be informed through Registered post by the Principal of the concerned Jawahar Navodya Vidhyala. JNV class 11 selections of the successful candidates will be based on the candidate's performance in Class 10 Board examination.

JNV Merit List 2018: The Merit List will be prepared as per the marks obtained by the candidates in Class 10 Board Exam and the admission will be given as per eligibility of candidates and the seats available in JNVs concerned.

• A common merit list will be prepared against all the existing vacancies at the State level for admission to Class 11 based on available vacancies from the district/nearby JNVs.
• Selected candidates from the District will be admitted in concerned JNV to the extent of available vacancies and also according to their preference as they have mentioned in the application form.

Reservation of Seats

SC/ST Reservation: Reservation of seats for the students belongs to SC/ST categories in proportion to their population in the district subject to the national minimum.

Relaxation of Marks: The Relaxation of marks in Science/Commerce Stream in Class 11 is given to the eligible Sports/NCC/Scout/Guide Students for admission to various streams in Class 11 in accordance with the criteria by the JNVs.

Orientation Programme

There will be 10 days orientation programme for each newly admitted students to be conducted by each Jawahar Navodaya Vidyalayas to bridge the learning gap and orient them in the environment.
