Global Eco-Leaders Camp 2017

Global Eco Leaders Camp 2017 invites application for essay writing competition on the topic "How can we motivate people to conserve energy?" for the participants all around the world. Eco-generation, CSR initiative of Samsung Engineering is conducting the program and Samsung Engineering India sponsoring the program in India. The Global Eco Leader Camp 2017 will be held in Seoul, South Korea which will be a 6-day programme to be started in February 2017.

All the Eco-generation members from all the countries are eligible to participate in the essay competition only through online mode and the last date of the application submission is November 12, 2016.

Global Eco Leader Camp 2017 - Schedule

The winners of Global eco Leaders Camp 2017 will be facilitated with the given below opportunities, in order to advance their awareness on the role and commitment to energy efficiency, energy conservation, and mitigating energy-related impacts on the environment:

• Participants and facilitators will be given the opportunities to participate in the main event of Global Eco-Leaders Camp 2017 which program includes:
  • Specialist lectures
  • Laboratory demonstrations & experiments
  • Hands-on project
  • Presentation competition and a variety of other activities 
• The trip to the 2017 Global Eco-Leader Camp will be in February 2017 for 6 days and the whole trip will be sponsored by Samsung Engineering.

Global Eco Leader Camp 2017 - Total Seats

The Global eco Leader Camp 2017 applications can be submitted online only. The application process for the participants belongs to India, Mexico, Saudi Arabia, South Korea and UAE can follow the link given below to apply online:

STEP 1: Firstly, applicants have to create their account on www.tunza.eco-generation.org after which applicants can access the application form for the essay submission.

STEP 2: Now the participants have to register by entering their personal and academic details and verify their account using the registered Email ID.

STEP 3: After the successful registration and becoming the Eco Generation member, applicants can now follow the link given above to submit their entries.

STEP 4: Now applicants have to enter their required details in the required columns. Applicants also have to write an essay in 600 to 800 words on "How can we motivate people to conserve energy?" in the content box of the application form.

STEP 5: Applicants have to attach their recent updated CV in the required columns for the submission.

Submission of Application form

The participants can submit the application form only through online mode on the official website of Tunza Eco-generation. The participants are advised to check their application status regularly on the official website using their username and Password.

Submission Guidelines

• Samsung Engineering reserves First Rights on all submissions. All other rights to the essay remain the property of the author.
• All entries must be original works, in English. Plagiarism and off topic will result in disqualification.
• Each applicant can submit only one essay. (600-800 words)
• If there is not enough number of qualified applicants from one host country then the remaining number of the winners will be selected from other Country.

The participants and the facilitators who successfully submitted their application form will be selected by a panel of judges on the basis of their Essay, Presentation, Video, and CV. The participants and the facilitator's selection plan is given following the table:
