Delhi Government Scholarship 2018 For Advancing Art is inviting applications for advanced training in various art forms. The applications will be accepted for the scholarships 2018-19 for advanced training in the categories like Community Arts, Dance, Research in Arts Development, Theatre, Visual Arts, and Music. Delhi Government has taken the decision to foster and support the aspiring artists and artists with disabilities. The Delhi Government has also increased the scholarship amount for advancing arts practice.
In order to make it more comprehensive, the Sahitya Kala Parishad of Delhi has introduced a large number of new programs and extend the scope of the programs like music, theatre and dance categories by including newer forms such as rap, folk, hip-hop, along with the traditional art forms. According to the new Scholarship scheme by Delhi Government, the candidates who apply for Sahitya Kala Parishad Scholarship and secured one of the limited seats will be awarded by the scholarship amount of Rs. 4000 per month for community arts, dance, theatre, visual arts, and music and Rs. 12,000 per month will be awarded for research in Arts Development.
