Bal Bharti Essay Competition 2016 is for the children aged 10 to 16 years. The Competition is organised by publication division, Ministry of Information and Broadcasting on the occasion of children's day. Bal Bharti has been providing valuable content to the children in an enjoyable format and its publication division has been organising the Essay Competition for children since 2004. Initially, this competition was only for children of Delhi but in 2008 the competition assumed a national level status.
The candidate participating in Bal Bharti Essay Competition 2016 will have to write a minimum 1500 word’s essay on one of the following topics:
All topics are based on the various plans run by the government of India. Top 13 essays will be selected by a jury of judges for the reward. The last date for submission of the essay is December 30, 2016.

Attested photocopy of the Birth certificate is required to be sent along with the essay. There is no fee for submission of the essay. The essay will be submitted via post in the envelope. Name, Age, Class, Phone number and full address must be written on the back side of the envelope. “Bal Bharti Nibandh Pratiyogita 2016” should be written on the front side of the envelope.
Along with the application form, the candidates have to send a date of birth proof issued by the Principal of the school.
The candidates participating in the Bal Bharti Essay competition will have to send their Essay with the required attachment only via post until December 30, 2016. The essay will be sent to the address given below:

Bal Bharti Publication division will select a jury of judges to evaluate and select the top Essay written by the participants. The top 13 essays will be selected for the reward by the jury of Judges.
