About 14th All India Kendriya Vidyalaya Child Art Competition 2018

14th All India Kendriya Vidyalaya Child Art Competition 2018 - Kendriya Vidyalaya is receiving the entries for the 14th All India Kendriya Vidyalaya Child Art Exhibition 2018. It is a drawing and painting competition sponsored by ONGC Rajahmundry. The medals and special prizes would be granted to the participants as per their rank in the competition. 200 medals will be awarded to the 200 paintings i.e. each group 40 medals from Group A to Group E. The candidates have to mention the required details at the back side of the painting such details are like Name, Class, Name of the KV with postal address and code, Name of the drawing teacher and Name of the Region and State. 14th All India Kendriya Vidyalaya Child Art Competition 2018 Eligibility Criteria

Details

There are six groups in which the candidates can apply for the 14th All India Kendriya Vidyalaya Child Art Exhibition 2018.

The Groups will be divided as per the following:

  • Group A - Class 1 & 2
  • Group B - Class 3 & 4
  • Group C - Class 5 & 6
  • Group D - Class 7 & 8
  • Group E - Class 9 to 12
  • Group F (Special Group) Oil Colours/ Acrylic Colours - 6 to 12 Classes (Not Oil Pastels)
  • Each Vidyalaya has to send 4 exhibits from Group A to Group E.
  • However, the special group can send any number of paintings (Acrylic/ Oil colours)

14th All India Kendriya Vidyalaya Child Art Competition 2018 Reward

The rewards for the 14th All India Kendriya Vidyalaya Child Art Exhibition 2018 will be granted to the participants from Group A to E comprising the gold plated medals, prizes and special prizes. 200 medals will be awarded for the top 200 paintings. The details of the prize which is decided GroupWise is given in the table below:

40 Mementoes will be awarded for top paintings from Group F (Acrylic/Oil paintings).


Important Points

  • The top ten drawing teachers and their Vidyalays will be awarded by mementoes for good performance by their students in the exhibition.
  • A Memento will be awarded to each of those five regions from which have the maximum number of KVs participate.

14th All India Kendriya Vidyalaya Child Art Competition 2018 Application form and Process

The participants have to submit the paintings to the Kendriya Vidyalaya address on or before the due date i.e. 31 August 2018. Each painting has to be certified by the drawing teachers and principal mentioning that this is "An Original Unaided work of the student." The participants have to furnish the following details at the back of the painting

  • Name
  • Class
  • Title of the painting
  • Name of the Drawing Teacher
  • Name of the Region and State
  • Name and address of the Kendriya Vidyalaya with postal pin code

Size of the Paintings: The size of the paintings should be ¼ or ½ of the chart/ drawing sheet (11”x14”or14”x 22” inches). The participants need to know that no other sizes will be accepted.

14th All India Kendriya Vidyalaya Child Art Competition 2018 Selection Process

  • There would be a panel for judging the submissions. The entries would be judged by the panel of eminent artists. 
  • The result and prizes will be sent to the Vidyalaya along with a copy of Child Art Exhibition 2018 souvenir by post
