About ANTSE

Ajmal National Talent Search Exam (ANTSE) will be conducted by Ajmal Foundation to identify extraordinary talents in children and promote and encourage them to develop and improve their skills through cash rewards. This scholarship exam can be taken by both school and college students. The Ajmal Foundation was established in 2005. The talent search exam is organized for awarding scholarships to the students of Assam, West Bengal, and Tripura. Ajmal National Talent Search Exam (ANTSE) will be conducted in maximum districts of Assam, one District of Tripura and West Bengal. This is pencil and paper-based talent search examination.

Till 2016 there are a total number of 3,35,372 students have participated in the ANTSE Exam and among them, 80,846 students have received the cash awards of total Rupees 1,38,41,460 has been disbursed to the awardees.

  • Class 3 to 12 students
  • Degree Students (Undergraduate): B.A./B.Sc./B.Com, 1st, 2nd, 3rd year and students studying Law, Engineering, Medical, Management and Computer Science, etc.

ANTSE Exam will be conducted in three groups:

Group A Class 3 to 10
(Class Wise)
Assamese, English and Bengali
Group B Class 11 to 12 (Combined) Assamese, English and Bengali
Group C Degree Level (Combined) English Only

ANTSE Reward

ANTSE is conducted by Ajmal Foundation to identify extraordinary talents in children and promote and encourage them to develop and improve their skills through cash rewards. Those candidates who performed well in this examination will get the scholarship award according to the award structure given below:

Ajmal Toppers   Particulars
 80 Awards for Class 3 to 10 10 Ranks and Awards will be presented to the "Best 10" in Each Class
6 Rank HS and Degree 3 Ranks will be Awarded in Each Class (Rank 1 to 3)
Ajmal Achievers At the level of each centre the top three performer will be Rs. 400, Rs. 350 and Rs. 300 respectively.
 Ajmal Promisers 20% of Candidates from each centre on the basis of marks (In the context of that centre only) will be awarded a "Promiser Rs 200 per candidate. The 20% includes other position holders, if any, from "Ajmal Toppers" and "Ajmal Achievers" Ranks. The "promiser prize" is to encourage students from every centre especially, those from rural areas to get interested in the competitive examination.


The Candidates of above categories will be awarded cash prizes and merit certificates.

Steps to apply for ANTSE Entrance Exam 2018

  • candidates have to download the application form from the link above the form must be filled properly and submitted to the designated exam centre.
  • The application Form attached with the brochure may be used or can be Xerox or neatly typed or may be downloaded from the website.
  • Payment of Fees: Exam Centre Coordinator should collect the examination fees from the individual candidate and deposit the total amount collected either through online banking/cash deposit in favor of  Ajmal Foundation-A/C No: 11284630800 (SBI, Hojai Branch Code- 02065, IFSC-SBIN0002065).

  • All correspondence shall be made with the exam centre only.The Application Form, complete in all respects, must reach ANTSE Office on or before 31 March 2018.
  • Exam Fees: Rs. 150 (For each candidate)

Application Form Submission

The application form should be filled up properly and submitted to the Coordinator of Exam Centre along with the demand draft of the application fee. The application form must reach the ANTSE Office on or before the 31 March 2018.

Attach Two Passport Size Photos: Applications with two PP photographs with his/her name & class on the reverse side should be attached.

ANTSE 2018 Admit Card

Candidates shall receive Admit Cards, Certificates, Prizes etc. from their respective Exam centre only. ANTSE Admit cards will be sent to the Exam Centre on or before 15 days prior to the ANTSE Exam. Change in Exam Centre without permission from the Board is not allowed.

ANTSE Selection Process

Selection of the candidates eligible for the awards will be made on the basis of the scores obtained by them in the ANTSE Exam that will conduct on 13 May 2018. The awards will be distributed to the candidates as per the rank obtained by them. Despite getting a good rank in ANTSE Exam, a candidate must have minimum 60% marks in their respective class.

ANTSE 2018 Result

ANTSE Result will be published on 31 August 2018 on the official website & result bulletin, certificates & Cash Awards will be sent to Exam centres/ coordinators only. The students will be able to check the ANTSE Result online by entering the required details.

  • Request for rechecking of answer script will not be entertained.
