West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board announced dates for WBJEE 2015. The examination for the academic session 2015-16 is scheduled to be held on April 18 (Saturday) and April 19 (Sunday) 2015.
WBJEE is a common entrance examination taken after class 12 for admission to undergraduate courses in Medical, Dental, Engineering & Technology, Pharmacy and Architecture in Govt. Colleges and Private Institutes of West Bengal. Only Indian nationals of at least 17 years of age residing in West Bengal for at least last 10 years are eligible to appear in WBJEE 2015. Candidates should have passed Higher Secondary (10+2) examination of West Bengal Council of Higher Secondary Education or equivalent examination from a recognized Council/Board with the specified percentage of marks.
The eligibility criteria and the minimum qualifying marks for appearing for WBJEE differs depending upon the type of course applied and the category of the students (General and SC/ST)
The student can apply online or offline for the entrance exam. For 2015, WBJEE syllabus has been revised and aspirants can find details about the revised syllabus on official website.
