A new pattern for CBSE Class 12 Maths Paper 2017 for the Board Examination has been decided by Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE). The changes are incorporated in the design of CBSE Class 12 Maths Paper 2017 for the academic session 2016-17. The students who are presently studying in class 12 will witness a new pattern of the question in the year 2017.
The decision to change the design of questions paper after the criticism CBSE got from the students, parents and other people over the 'tough' question paper this year. CBSE has decided to modify and make some effective changes in Class 12 Maths Question Paper. Talking about the 'difficulty level', let us see how difficult will be the 2017 board exam maths paper for Class 12.
CBSE Class 12 Maths Paper 2017- Difficulty Level
Class 12 mathematics question paper will have maximum of average dificulty level questions. The question paper will have:
- 20% easy questions.
- 60% average questions.
- 20% difficult questions.
Changes in Class 12 Maths Question Paper for 2017
The changes exam pattern of CBSE class 12 paper will give students a chance to pass and score high percentage. 2017 CBSE Maths Board paper will witness the following changes:
- CBSE has added 2 marks questions in the new format. It will consist of a total 16 marks. Previously there was only 1 mark, four-mark and 6-marks questions.
- Higher Order Thinking Skills (HOTS) question of 10 marks
- The Very Short Answers (VSA) and Short Answers (SA) will carry total 20 marks
- In the new pattern, there will be no overall choice in the question paper. However, 30% internal choices will be given in 4 marks and 6 marks questions.
